We stayed in a standard double room at Swissotel. Breakfast was included in our deal. We found Swissotel Berlin to be excellent. The fittings and general physical structures were very good while the overall efficiency and the easy competence of the staff was impressive. The staff were helpful but not opinionated, available but unobtrusive and were clearly well trained and hard working.

The Hotel was recommended by a friend. Very good location for visitors. A fully competent and friendly staff was at hand at all times. My wife and I really enjoyed our three night stay.

Excellent location. Helpful staff, paticularly concierge. Non-functioning airconditioning so room too hot - asked for bed sheets but got an additional duvet though corrected next day. Also noise from room above - don't know whether this was due to building design or just noisy guests but was all 4 nights. Didn't use restaurant at any time. Bar tiny but staff pleasant. Notwithstanding these irritants we enjoyed our stay and would return.

Having booked 3 twin rooms,we got 3 doubles and a "camp bed" in each ,this wasnt i expected from a 5 star hotel.I spent the first 2 hours of my stay trying to get the rooms we had reserved ,but they were not available which was not good enough as it had been booked for quite some time.In the end we had to have 6 single rooms instead.So my friends had to be moved which was a problem due to a pre -arranged meeting that night which we had to cancel because of the time taken in getting our rooms.The hotel as a goodwill gesture let us have breakfast for 2 mornings included in the price but when i came to check out i had to pay for one breakfast.The hotel said it was for the first two mornings not 2 breakfast taken at anytime,as i had breakfast saturday missed sunday and had it monday i would have to pay for it which i was totally astounded.Ive used venere for some years now but i will look elswhere in future if this is the service i recieve.When i book five star i expect five star because of all the trouble, i still had to pay five star prices.

Our stay at the Swissotel Berlin was lovely! We found it to be quite modern, upscale and comfortable. Our room was spacious, pristine and well-appointed with every possible comfort... The coffeemaker in the room was a huge convenience. The hotel is located within easy reach of the U and S Bahn stops. Shopping nearby is wonderful. We did not take advantage of the gym/spa facilities, nor did we have breakfast, but there are plenty of eateries nearby. I would clearly stay there again.

The location is very good ( central and at the same time quite )the breakfast is excellent with a very large selection and the room spacious and confortable.The food ordered in the lobby is nice as presentation but quite poor in content.

Met expectations, excellent location. Overall stay score was not high due to an important room charateristic not surveyed which is bed or sleeping comfort. The beds consist of a 6 inch mattress on a board surface. Even for a person such as me who likes a firm mattress, the Swisshotel bed/mattress was a very uncomforatable. I awoke each morning with a sore back.

This is an excellent hotel. The service was very good and the location is excellent. Public transportation is available across the street. It is in the heart of the shopping district. If you want to be closer to the museums, stay in the Unter Linden.

IT IS ALWAYS BETTER TO STAY IN SWISSOTEL.HOTEL, SURROUNDING, AND ROOM ALL ARE VERY GOOD EXCEPT THEY SHOULD HAVE INCLUDED BREAKFAST IN THE SAME PRICE.

The staff were brilliant. Our luggage did not make with us from Japan with the chageover at heathrow. The staff traced it for us and organised everything. very helpful beyond the call of duty. The hotel is excellent and anyone who wishes to explore Berlin a good hotel to come back to and relax. It makes the visit more pleasurable to have a good hotel.

We were most upset to find on arrival that breakfast was not included in the price we expected to pay. We feel that the Venere website was not clear that breakfast was not included. On the page displaying a picture of the room it stated "every morning you will be served an abundant breakfast buffet in the restaurant." The fact that this was not included was buried at the bottom of the page on another sheet.

Though I made a request for a twin, they gave us a double instead. On your webpage, it would be better if it specifies if the quoted price includes breakfast or not.

this was the most wonderful hotel, and my stay was divine. i would use Venere.com again in a heartbeat, and stay at the swisshotel again and agin and again
