Hello, our trip to Paris was for business. Therefore we were looking for a Hotel right in the center of Paris. We found that with the Mayfair and the location was great. Well, that's the only good thing to say. The service in this so called 4* was simply -no service-. The staff was not very helpful and also not very friendly. The impression was, the least to answer, as better for them. The parking situation was the worst. We paid 28,00 Euro for one night parking in a distance of more then 200 meter away from the Hotel and NO BELL BOY SERVICE!!! We had to carry all of our luggage by ourselves - back and force-! That is absolutely unacceptable for a Hotel with this ranking. We can't recommend the Hotel and for our next visit in Paris, it will definitely NOT the Mayfair where we are staying!

A diaster from beginning to end! They relocated us to a another hotel the first night at 9pm as they didn,t have accommodations. When we got into our room the second night, it was over heated with a broken thermostat. At check out our bill was incorrect and took much discussion to rectify. Manager,Redouane Yahiaoui, was rude, insulting and condescending.I would never stay here again

This is a true gem in Paris. My room, although a single, was larger than many places I have stayed in Paris. The location was fabulous and despite the fact that it was just steps away from the Rue de Rivoli, it was quiet. Also very quiet inside without hearing any of the other guests. The staff from petit dejeuner to after noon cocktails or tea were fantastic and after just a few days I felt like they were old friends. The front desk staff was superior and most accommodating in their assistance for reservations, directions, etc. I shall definitely return to this hotel!

Hotel is very good in over all. Nice, Clean, easy to walk and surrounded by shops and restaurants both Rue Saint Honore and Opera and Lovre museum. Just cannot check in to the room if your flight arrive early in the morning.

Breakfast too expensive. Given the rate of the rooms, it must be included.

My wife and I spent 2 nights. Our 2nd trip to Paris. Good location on a small one way street between Place Vendome and Place Concorde. Many nice restaurants and bars within walking distance. Metro near. Upscale stores and hotels close by(i.e. Crillon and Ritz). Good business center with fast internet at reasonable cost.

We booked a family room for 360 euro. It had a completely separate bedroom with two twin beds, a main bedroom with two twin beds pushed together, and a bathroom. All rooms very nicely appointed and large (VERY large by European standards). Everything was ceal and nice. Unfortunately our "view" was into interior courtyards, one of which had a garden of sorts, the other was nothing. The other unfortunate thing was our room was just down a side hallway from the front desk (about 40'/10M) and right next to the guest computer room/business meeting area, so we had a fair amount of noise until later in the night. The location is on a side street just north of of the Touleries park. We chose this location because it was close to the Louvre, which was our primary purpose of our visit (that & yummy food!). We only stayed one night, then metro'd out to EuroDisney (yucky food!). The desk folks were very nice & spoke very good English.

1. The room was way too small; (felt like I was in an Amsterdam Hotel!) 2. The hotel is located on a street which is also the back of a neighbouring 5 star hotel. Therefore, all of the staff from that hotel hangs out on the sidewalk facing the entrance of the hotel -- not a pretty scene. 3. More importantly, that 5 star hotel's utility entrance is right across from the Mayfair hotel, so, you get a lot of early morning delivery trucks coming and going out, making a lot of noise which you can hear from your room facing the street. 4. Season being Mid-may, the weather was still chilly in the evenings; therefore the room was cold. However, the A/C unit was for "cooling only" and the heating system was switched off and did not work. The hotel's solution was to give another blanket.. When you sleep, this solution may be fine; however, if you are just working on your laptop in the room, "putting on a blanket" does not work. 5. Breakfast was poor and expensive. (14 € if you have a croissant + a jelly.. Take a slice of cheese, they treat it as "open buffet" and charge you 20 €.) And the "open buffet", is NOT.. Very poor selection.

On my arrival, the receptionist welcomed me by calling my name before I said anything. The porter even greeted me in Japanese! Employees were all polite and nice. The room was lovely decorated. It can be a bit small for a man, but for me, it was more than enough. Location was great and convenient. The bar closes early in the evening (20:30)...that's a pity.

The Mayfair was outstanding. Less than a block from a metro and in walking distance from many of the central Paris attractions. My business travel was extended by 3 days and when I arrived I needed laundry done and a few other 'chores'. The Mayfair provided be with all of these services with a smile and then some. I would stay here upon my next return to Paris - no exceptions.

I liked the hotel, but had an incident. The maid broke a glass in my bathroom and did not bring another and did not clear all the broken glass. When I returned, there were pieces of glass in the bath, in the sink and on the floor. And there was nobody available to clean all this till the next day.

The hotel is somewhat dated now and would benefit from a thorough makeover. The Room we had was adjacent to the lifts and they did keep us awake some nights. However the service was fantastic and the reception staff were always very eager to help. The location of the hotel was superb. Very close to all the major attractions and ideally placed if all you want to is shop
