Hotel De Las Letras H&R - Madrid

The hotel public area was very nice and the room was clean, beautiful and funcional. I would not recommend to have breakfast in the hote as it is very very poor! The standard breakfast consisted only into a coffee orange juice and one piece of toast!!

We stayed this hotel three nights. It was nice interior and clean room. The location is also good for accessing to the center of Madrid.

Great Hotel, surprising spaceous and modern. Don't let the entrance and lobby fool you. Take a room at the back of the hotel and you will have no trouble with noise or thelike from the Gran Via. Brilliant teracce with bar and lounch facilities on the roof (even a DJ). Unfortunatelly the Spa was rebuild during our stay, but in my view that means that it should be great soon. Price/quality outstanding and close to the Metro and a lot of the great locations on walking distance. So for us a certain must!

We arrived early had requested early check. They weren't ready for us early so we went to the bar for a drink. They told us they upgraded us because of the wait. It was wonderful we had a jacuzzi on our deck overlooking madrid. Couln't have been nicer. Not the typical hotel room. Felt like home . Just gorgeous and so appreciated the jacuzzi. Definitely would come back for a future visit. Difficult for us to find. We drove past twice not realizing that was the hotel. Streets don't have signs like in canada.

Overall we liked the hotel, though it's a bit pricey. Two major things that bothered us about this hotel: there is the very poor lighting in the room, and the public area (the lobby bar) is full of cigarette smoke, so it's impossible to non-smoking people to sit there and enjoy the evening. Also note that the "King size bed" that is big and very comfortable, but it's in fact two beds brought together and not a proper double bed. I've asked for a proper double bed and they didn't have any. We didn't try the breakfast, as it isn't included in the price. On the positive side: the location is excellent, the room was very spacious, nice decorated, and had a very nice view of the street. There is a very nice terrace on the roof of the hotel with a great view of Madrid's roofs.

Las Letras was splendid for us. What was interesting was to observe how efficiently it all operated, we rarely saw staff unless needed. The bar was very active and electric, the bar food awesome. Good vibes. The buffet breakfast was excellent.The location was perfect for our exploring of Madrid. Highly recommended. This is a well run place.

Wonderful rebuild design hotel. Nice staff. Good restaurant. the rooms on the first floor are a bit noisy (traffic), try to get a room on a higher floor.

An ultra modern masterpiece interior design wrapped in a neo-classic shell. On the drawback side: the hotel practically has no entrance hall or doorway and the lobby was cramped and many times overcrowded. All the rest was superb!

Great Hotel , Great location , Great service

We have traveled throughout Spain on this trip and De Las Letras is by far our favorite hotel. It is an excellent value and we will be back.

Very cosmopolitan hotel in a good location. Very comfortable bed! Not as many amenities as expected but we had a great time and good experience. Would stay here again.

Very nice and in a good location; many extra optional in the room (lcd video, HiFi). Only 20 min by taxi from the airport. The only bad think was the lounge room without no smoking area
