Hotel Olivia Plaza - Barcelona

An excellent location, nice employees, good breakfast. Concerning the room the soundproofing was not good we eard our "neighbours" and when we arrived the room has a musty smell

The rooms were too small... very hot without any possibility to open the windows and the must is that you are facing a wall or your neighbour' room... from my bed I could see the door of my neighbour... really interesting..... I would recommand to ask a room with a view on the city or the Plaza Catalunia... because the situation of this hotel is really good, you are really in the heart of the city!

- staff wasn't as friendly as one wish they would be - the bed was very soft for my taste and a somehow noisy as if there was plastic under the sheets - you could hear next door neighbours when everything was really quiet at night - allthough the shower/toilet design is very impressive at first, it was hard to use. The glass door is very heavy to move. My daughter peed in her pants while trying to open the door - the surroundings get all wet when brushing teeth or shaving - I missed to have a proper closet with shelving space - closet and space to unpack are so far away, that you rather not unpack

I asked for 3 double room and one triple, I only have double because they have no triple room.On the advertising on the net they talk about a private hotel parking!! false no private but a public expensive one.

Lacks a parking clenliness : some pillowcases were dirty upon our arrival and room service not being done at 1600 we had to request it and it was done in 10 minutes rooms : pity not to ba able to use shower and WC at same time (single door!)

Great great location but walls are somewhat thin so you can hear your neighbour cough or their phone ring. Also they don't refill soap after first day which is odd

I stayed for 6 nights at this excellent modern hotel. It is very centrally located which makes going around the city simple. Only downside might be the 18 euros for a breakfast, the buffet was excellent especially if you could eat a lot, but if you wanted simply a coffee and a croissant...... better a local bar. Staff and service all excellent, even the lifts were generally available, no long waits as happens so often.

The Olivia Plaza is a very modern hotel in a superb location - within walking distance of a large portion of the city. The bathroom configuration (part of which is not closed off i.e. wash-hand basin area)may not suit all e.g corporate market where colleagues are sharing a room, but it is perfectly fine.

Modern rooms, comfortable, some noise from adiacent rooms (shower and electric window opener), rich breakfast buffet, but it could be better organized. hotel doesn't have a private parking, also temporary parking for check-in/out is difficult, but a public parking is very near.

Olivia Plaza is an excelent hotel in an excelent place in front of the Plaza Catalunya. Everything is near including the transportation. You can take the Aerobus for the transportation from the airpot/hotel/airport for 3.75 euros each way (you can paid at the bus). Bus stops at the Plaza Catalunya as well as the turistic bus, that is an excelent way of seeing Barcelona for 18 euros or 22 euros for 2 days. This turistic bus is also taken at the Plaza Catalunya. There are 2 routes and the hotel provides the routes map. The staff was very friendly and provided recommendations. Thanks to them, I knew that main stores are closed on Sunday. The room is very modern and breakfast is good too. I definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone.

Noise on certain evenings. Design flaws in bathroom, water flows out into the corridor, if you are not careful with the shower.

Good hotel and rooms for one person. We stayed tree in the room and the layout/space and lighting was not suitable for that number of people. Toilet/shower door and wardrobe, draw space in particular not enough. Wireless connection to internet did not work in the room, but was working OK in the lobby. Will consider to stay again if will come on my own.

Excellent séjour dans cet hôtel très central et au beau design moderne (beau contraste avec l'église ancienne qui se trouve à l'arrière), accueil très gentil, calme.. tout était parfait, uniques remarques : la clim trop froide en février, et le prix du petit déj élevé
