Hotel de Saxe is fantastic. We had booked 7 rooms for ten persons. Everyone was more than happy with this hotel. Service was quick and professional. Would like to come back.

The hotel is situated in an excellent place for exploring the old city. The only fault I could find was the overpowing smell of smoke in the corridors, it smell like they had had a fire and the residue was still in the carpet.

First for a lawyer term in Meissen nearby DD. Then to visit this wonderful town was the steigenberger ideally placed in the center of the old town near as possible to the Frauenkirche! One of the nicest towns of germany! Florence at the Elbe! Superfine!

I only stayed one night in this hotel, but I suggest it as it is very confortable, very good price/quality and excellent position on a beautiful square and so close to nice restaurants, historical buildings and shops.

Absolutely excellent hotel in an absolutely excellent location. It would be hard to imagine a better location in Dresden: you walk out the doors and you are immediately in a world of architectural beauty. Lots of restaurants close by. The staff are top quality and the rooms are dark, well-ventilated, and quiet: just what you need to sleep well after a day of museums and rich tortes!
