Starhotels Grand Milan - Saronno

Excellent. I have already told my good experience to my friends and recommended them to use these hotels.

We used this hotel for a one-night stopover when en route to Como from Milan Malpense airport, using the railway sytem. Saronno is where you change from the Malpense Express to the local line to Como (and vice versa). The hotel is about a 5 minute walk from the station, but to find it you need to be pointed in the right direction, especially late at night. It is large, modern, has spacious rooms, pleasant staff, is very clean and provides an excellent breakfast. It is vastly superior to anything you will get at Como for the same price and it suited our purpose excellently.

Very good hotel near to Milan - good rooms, a lot of space and attention to details. Lack of a fitness room for this kind of hotel.

Town centre and easy to get to

Hotel was new and did not yet have internet access, nor a spa or health club. When finished it will be stunning

This was a great place to stay... but mainly because of the rate we got (100 Euros for a room for two people, including hot breakfast). The rack rates quoted behind the door of the room (150 to 500 Euros) were eye-watering. The hotel is brand-new (1 month since opening), so everything is in perfect condition. The rooms are huge and luxurious. The public areas are totally lacking in charm - BMW drivers will feel right at home. :-) Breakfast was nice, but we suspected that dinner would be expensive and soulless (two or three businessmen dining alone on a Monday night...), so we walked outside, crossed the road, turned left, and found an excellent pizzeria/ristorante about 100 metres from the hotel.

Fantastic hotel offering all that a customer requires. Architecture and design are superb; ample parking space; excellent customer service; quiet surrounding; easy to reach by car; good food; etc. My partner and I travelled on business and found the hotel ideal for an overnight stay before catching a morning flight back from Milan Malpensa airport. We wanted a quiet hotel on the outskirts of Milan where we could avoid the morning traffic congestion to the airport. Grand Milan provided the ideal location, and much more!

Nice business hotel...being brand new, we were obviously treated to a pristine room and an energetic staff. A manager/consultant of the food/beverage dept. was very welcoming and very personable and seemed to be there day and night. The bartender also seemed to care for us as if we were friends. I chose this hotel because of lacation (close to Monza/F1, Milano, Malpensa, and Lake Como) and also because I figured it would be internet/computer friendly but the internet was not available while we were there. Quite disappointing. Also the pool was not open...but we were there for F1, not relaxing.
