Room for three people was VERY small. When we stayed there on October 25, they upgraded us to an executive suite. Had I known that before we left, I would have paid the additional monies involved to get that kind of room for our 5 night stay. The staff is very professional, kind and courteous. Couldn't ask for better folks.

We arrived a bit too soon, therefore the room was not ready yet. It should have taken them another 30-45 minutes. After 45 minutes it was still not ready, so we got another room, I think it was a suite! when we came into theroom, we expected a room with 4 beds in it, but this was not the case. The room had a spacious hall with lots of closetroom. Walking through the hall, we found left and right 2 very large rooms, one with a double bed and one with two sofabeds, each room with tv, opening windows, minibar and airconditioning. The bathroom was very clean and big enough. We had more towels then we needed. The breakfast was very sumptuous, almost everything was there, croissants, different kinds of bread (you could make your own toast), different kinds of meat products, yoghurt, milk, coffee, tea, 3 types of fruitjuices, müsli, cereals, chocolate buns, stirfried eggs, sausages, fresh fruit, (melon, apples, oranges). You really don't have to leave there hungry!! Next time, when we travel again to the south of Italy, Hotel Starhotels Business Palace can count on our stay again. I can recommend it to everyone who will hear.

We were two families with 2 children each and we stayed at 2 family rooms at the last floor (11). The rooms were spacious (1 bedroom, 1 sitting room with sofa bed where they added another bed for the second child, wide corridor, and spacious bathroom). The breakfast was very good. and we also had dinner one night which was also very good and well priced. The metro station is just around the corner, which makes commuting to downtown Milan very easy.

I would come to your hotel again when I am in Mailand the next time. We did not have enough towels in two from three nights, only one time the missing ones where brought after reclamation. That was the only negative aspect.

A nice hotel located outside of Milan action. Location is a plus factor since it is located very near the Metro with Bank and a pizza restaurant at the corner. Room is spacious (we used the family room) with a king size bed, sofa bed and an extra bed for around 250 euro (2nights), a good deal compared to other city hotels where the rooms are crumpy or expensive. Breakfast is good with lots to choose from. Its a little farther in the center, however, with the nice metro system, it will not be hard.

I was travelling with my family on vacation, and the hotel was very nice and the staff friendly but had an awful time finding the hotel by car, the street signs are almost non existant and it is just a nightmare if you dont speak Italian. Not the hotels fault, for sure. GPS doesnt work very well in Italy. Locals were very helpful and so was staff, food was excellent in dinning room

Starhotels Business Palace was better than described in other reviews. The rooms were really clean, comfortable and the staff very accommodating. Our shower did have slow drainage, but water was hot. There is full breakfast with many choices of eggs, bacon, sausage, cereal, crossaint, pasties, juices, coffee, tea and very gracious staff. In particular, Dominique assisted in a very tough situation where we needed to adjust our flight arrangements. She helped us locate the correct persons to contact and get all arrangements updated. We also got very good directions, dinner recommendations, metro tickets, and information on metro and train systems. (Try La Vela just around the corner for dinner!!) The location is very good. The subway can be accessed right at the corner which links to every metro line and to the Central Station-very convenient. Every staff person from the front desk and all around were great. The lobby staff even assisted us with taking photos before we left!! This is a great place for business or vacation. There were families and business people, there during my stay and all seemed to be well. If ever in Milano again, I would definitely consider a stay at Starhotels Business Palace. Thanks SBP for a wonderful visit.

Beautiful hotel. Competent staff. Excellent Breakfast. Was disappointed to be given a twin room after having booked a double, but this often happens in Italy! Many Italian hotels don't seem to make a distinction between double and twin. The room was very warm, I'm sure they could lower the heating by a few degrees, the environment would certainly benefit! The minibar wasn't very cold but that was probably due to the room being so hot! All in all excellent value for money and I will certainly be staying here again! (Excellent restaurant just two minutes from the hotel!)

A great place to stay if you can get the weekend special rates. We paid 77-80 euro and it was well worth that price, but beware, it is a business hotel and prices nearly double on the weekdays! Location: 100m from Porte di mare metro station on the M3 (yellow) line, a direct run from Central station and Duomo. There is a good pizzeria about 1km and on the other side of the road (pizzeria del sole), or another small pizzeria on the corner. Restaurant on site as well, but a bit overpriced. Neighbourhood seemed safe in the evening hours. Rooms: Booked on Venere.com, weekend special. Room was very clean, had a Queen size bed, desk with chair, small table with 2 chairs, luggage rack, tea and coffee facilities in room, mini bar. Bedding is duvet cover type, (not the typical skank blankets that never get cleaned between guests!) Linens and towels changed fresh every day. Older TV, but has multilingual channels. Pictures on the website are true. Full bathroom with tub, 2 shower heads including a shower massage kind, toilet, bidet, counter space, hairdryer, makeup mirror. Facilities: large lobby with lots of seating nooks, free newspapers, on site restaurant, bar, internet point in lobby, bellman for luggage, fitness centre, multilingual front desk staff, outdoor courtyard. Internet is paid - not cheap: mobile devices (ie: ipod) = 5.50euro for 24hours continuous Laptop= 11 euro for 24 hours Lobby computer = 2euro for 15 minutes or 3.50 euro for 30 min. Breakfast: included in room price. Large variety to choose from. However, I should warn you that the coffee is UNDRINKABLE unless you like TAR. A better bet is to order a cappuccino or espresso from one of the servers (no charge). The scrambled eggs are kinda gross (watered down?) and the bacon is SWIMMING in it's own grease! If you prefer other stuff, there are croissants, breads, pastries, cereals, yogurt, meats and cheeses, fruits. Lots to choose from. Would definitely recommend for weekend rates.

I chosed this hotel for a weekend stay in Milan. The value for money is quite good, with a nice room and a good buffet breakfast (forget about the coffee or capuccino quality thou....). Door to Door via underground the hotel is 15 minutes distance from Duomo or Centrale train station, as the underground stop is less than 100 meters far from the hotel.

We spent one night here (with a toddler). The room is very nice and the hotel was very close to the subway (ATM) yellow line, which runs to the train station and Duomo. We had an early morning flight out of Linate Airport and the staff offered us a box breakfast ready to go in the morning. However, they forgot to get it ready for us the next morning. Nonetheless, they had a cab for us in very short order to take us to the airport. There was no hotel shuttle service for Linate Airport. This hotel was an ideal place to spend the night before an early morning flight out of Milan. It was very easy to quickly travel into the city center and to get to the hotel from the central train station via subway. The hotel needs to get electronic keys though.

Good hotel. Good value. Except.... the rather miserable and cheap Mistral hotel, just round the corner, gives you internet access for just 5 euros for 24 hrs. The Santa Barbara, at San Donato, gives you 24 hours for 12 euros. Here, it is a RIDICULOUS 20 euros! With the same Swisscom company that the Santa Barbara use. This is way over the top, and a real consideration if you have to use the internet and are after a reasonably priced hotel.

Hotel very good situated, only half a street away from the underground and 5mins travelling by underground to the centre of the city (same line to Duomo). Breakfast included with a great variety, it´s all you can eat. The only thing is that the restaurants inside the hotel are a little bit expensive, but you can find restaurants near the hotel at good prices. The staff is very polite and they help you with anything you need. My family and I enjoy so much our stay and I will definitely come back to the same hotel

Great location, very close to Linate airport, and 10 min by subway from center of town. Huge, spacious room, modern shape, well furnished. Easy to get to hotel, for a good price. Only negative is that there is parking in the basement, but there is no discount for hotel customers, so it comes out pretty expensive. However, there is on-street parking which isn't too hard to find a block or two walking distance.

Apart from the fact that the cleaning staff left my door wide open for several hours with all my belongings in the room, having totally disregarded the 'do no disturb' sign and then did not do my laundry, instead prefering to leave it behingd the front desk, then leaving the cleaning materials and dirty towels still in the bathroom was MOST DISAPPOINTING. Apart from that the usual national offering for breakfast was inedible and the overall experience left me wishing I was elsewhere

My husband and I were so disappointed with this hotel that we cut short our stay. The room smelled like old smoke and urine. We were concerened about the security because when you leave the hotel for the day, you give your key to the person at the front desk to place in this slot with your room number. We watched as people came in and simply asked for the key to a room and were never asked to show some form of identification. We had a difficult time finding this hotel. The location is in a rather distressed neighborhood. We tried to eat in the restaurant but we could not eat the food because the place was dirty. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. The write up, pictures, comments etc. on this hotel and the reality are like night and day.

It is a good hotel and just a few steps from the underground station. The breakfast is great and the rooms are spacious and quiet. But the reception staff were rude, somewhat. When I get to the hotel to check in it was 13:00 and one of the employees told me that they may not have a room ready even after 2 PM despite the fact that I reserved this hotel a month before my arrival date. I argued with them and hopefuly they accomodated us by 14:00.

I travelled to Milan for family reasons. We stayed two nights, had dinner the first evening and both breakfasts at the hotel. We were a party of three adults and two children (one 4 years, the other 10 months) and the hotel staff were pleasant and most helpful with luggage, high chairs, food requests, etc. We had a large car and the hotel underground parking was a little tight, especially the access and exit ramps. Beware of the door stop in the bathroom, it is at the foot of the toilet. Still overall the hotel was ideally located for our purpose, the services we used were totally satisfactory.

Hotel molto bello, forse un pò fuori mano ma avevo l'auto e quindi per me la posizione non rappresentava un problema. Molto vicino agli snodi viari più importanti del nord Italia.

Ok place to stay...not in the best part of town (too far from main attractions); however, there's an subway within 3 mins from the property.

Though the quarity of the hotel in terms of room cleanliness and quietness is excellent, location is inconvenient. Because there are less shops and restaurants around. If I have got more information about environment, I would not stay there.

We are very satisfied with this hotel. We would recommend it. The room was very spacious and clean. Breakfast was very satisfactory for italian-standards. It is only 2 minutes walk from the underground (porto di mare). Taking the yellow line you only need 7-8 minutes to Duomo. We would stay there again!!!

For one night stay in Milan before flying home, this hotel was perfect. We came in from the train station on the Metro and the hotel in literally at the top of the stairs after you come off the Metro. We had just enough time to take the Metro into the city and see some of the sights. The shuttle was not available for us on the weekend, but the hotel provided a great taxi service to the airport for a good price. The staff was very friendly and helpful. For the price this Hotel is great. I would stay again.

The hotel was easy to find, but it is not in the centre. We went by the subway, which is 5 minutes from the hotel away, to the centre. The employees at the hotel were very friendly. The breakfast was good and the rooms were clean.
