An excellent stay in an excellent hotel. It could not be faulted and if we stay in Palma again, we will look no further than this hotel.

Really nice hotel to stay at when in Palma, Mallorca. However we got the feeling that they had a ryan air type of pricing: everything were at an extra price - for instance the ocean view. You may expect that at a cheaper priced hotel..

Stayed for a 4 night break in October. Had a non sea view room althuogh from the balcony looking left we did actually have one. Asked for a higher floor (as we'd see other reports about noise) and got one. Very quiet - despite builders refurbishing the top floor of the adjoining hotel. Public areas great, bar reasonably priced compared to local bars and restaurants. Not city centre but a pleasant walk there and back during day and evening. Also airport bus stop within a few yards of front door and taxis right outside. Didn't book breakfast as thought 17 euro was expensive - but on arrival offered a Tryp loyalty card which offered buy one get one free and that was very good value. Overall had a great stay, would go back and would reccomend.

The room booked through Venere website was stated as - "Standard Room, 2 People, Breakfast included - 107 Euros per night for 8 nights". This information was NOT correct as the standard room rate for the Bellver hotel did not include breakfast - it was 17 Euros per person extra. This cause annoyance and embarassment when checking in and does not reflect the usual high standard set by Venere.

The room at the Bellver reserved through Venere website was stated as "Standard Room, 2 People, Breakfast included - 107 Euros per night for 8 nights". On arriving at the Bellver Reception I was told that Venere were incorrect and that the Standard Room rate of 107 Euros per night did not in fact include breakfast - this was 17 Euros per person per day extra. Extremely annoying and embarrassing to put it mildly and not up to the usually high standard that I expect from Venere.

L'hôtel est très bien situé. Nous avons été bien acceuillis à la réception et la chambre que nous avions réservée (face à la mer) correspondait tout à fait à nos attente : literie, SDB et terrasse face à la Marina de Palma. Petit inconvénient le bruit des voitures lorsque la bie vitrée reste ouverte le soir. Sinon les chambres sont climatisées (il faisait 35° durant notre séjour en Août) et les sorties sont toutes à proximités : croisière en mer, boites de nuits, restaurants... Il est vrai que pour se baigner la plage la plus proche est à environ 5 km (à faire en bus ou en taxis): mais ce-ci est inhérent au choix que nous vions fait au départ : se loger au centre de Palma (face à la mer où il n'y'a que des marina) et visiter Palma à notre guise (centre ville, petites criques environnantes etc...). Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour.

Excellent hotel in all ways. Staff went beyond expectations to help us book a ferry. Good pool and restaurant with excellent service and food. You can choose a large breakfast or continental at the bar. Very attractive decor with outstanding flower arrangement. Position good near the Tourist Bus stop and lovely views of the marina. Sorry to leave.

Hotel for business people mainly. Great location. Very efficient. Superb breakfast. Had fantastic view from room but asked to get changed to this better room. We booked superior rooms but wasn't offered one initially.

We'd strongly recommend Hotel Tryp Bellver. It's clean, comfortable and the staff were keen to help and always responded. The breakfast is superb, the best we've had in a hotel. Rooms might be noisy at the front but we had a quiet rear room. The front of the hotel opens out onto the Paseo Maritimo and, although the road is busy, there is a pleasant walkway away from the road along the edge of the magnificent harbour and marina. It's about a ten minute walk into the centre along the Paseo Maritimo and there are restaurants along the front in both directions. The No 1 bus stops about 100 metres from the hotel and can be caught into town and to the airport just across the road. It runs every 15 minutes. 1.1 euros flat rate around Palma. We really enjoyed Palma and found the Tryp to be an excellent base.

Tryp Bellver is a 4 star hotel, past its best. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The decor of the dining room is fairly old fashioned and the outside of the hotel could do with a fresh coat of paint however the location of the hotel is superb, our room was on the 10th floor and over looking the harbour and towards the cathedral. There was quite alot of road noise when on the balcony but in the room, with the benefit of double, double glazing it was very quiet. Our room was a little on the small size but adequate but the air conditioning didn't work and at night it got quite stuffy as you couldn't leave the window open because of the road noise. If you are not into sport or a 24 hours news freak then forget about the in-room T.V. as its all in german or spanish. The hotel provided an excellent breakfast buffet and plent of city information in our room but it was all in spanish. Good value for money. I would have liked a more modern hotel but the location makes up for is inadequacies.

The hotel was clean, modern, staff efficient but didn't smile a lot! Lovely room overlooking the marina on 6th floor with good-sized balcony but you couldn't use it because of the NOISE! Traffic noise goes on all night and there was shouting in the street until all hours. This was February so can imagine it would be worse in high season. The location was good, beautiful views of marina and cathedral, l0 min. walk to the old town with good museums etc but wouldn't use this hotel again. The swimming pool is on the dining terrace on lst floor above the main road and very NOISY. If you want a relaxing holiday don't choose a hotel by the marina - too noisy - the view isn't worth it!

Lovely clean hotel, with the biggest breakfast buffet we have ever seen. We took a seaview room and it was well worth the extra money, could have spent all day on the balcony. Ideal location too, a few yards from the bus stop for the tour bus which gave us a comprehensive tour for 13euros, taxi rank right outside and shops in walking distance.

Front desk staff encouraged us to enjoy the ocean view room at an additional cost without warning us of the heavy loud traffic on the street below. They were accommodating and helpful when checking in, spoke english very well, and assisted us when we needed information on bus tours.
