On the other hand, the hotel was fully refurbished in 1998 and enjoys a wonderful garden with sunbeds and umbrellas. Moreover, Tryp Guadalmar offers all kind of services to make guests live an unforgettable holidays: two outdoor swimming pools (for adults and children), a tennis court, a gym with jacuzzi and a heated pool, a sauna, a massage service under request, a bar, a casino, a restaurant and a pool bar open during summer.

Very quiet hotel, just in front of a beautyfull beach. We enjoied our staying very much and can raccomend the hotel, if you are looking for a beach hotel and if you have a car. If you don't, it can be a little complicated to move and reach the city, though. The price is OK, related to the other cities in Andalucia.

Stayed in Tryp Guadalamar twice in ten days in February- when we flew in and the night before we flew out. Good location for airport. Difficult to find the hotel especially in dark- even with maps. I can usually find anywhere easily - but not here?? Hotel is in good housing estate - but right on good looking beach. Dinner in bar/restaurant was not up to much- and nowhere else available adjacent. BUT - The Breakfast was excellent - one of the best. Good value at a good price. c. 69 Euro for 2 - b&B

Mature couple spent one week in this excellent hotel with very beautiful surrondings near the beach, perfect opulent breakfast. Evident information on sights in Andalucia was lacking at the reception. Beds broad, but a little hard. Indoor swimming pool with nice temperature, but noisy training people.

We booked for 3 nights but stayed for 7, so you can see we enjoyed the hotel. The staff were particularly good. Two small criticisms: the gym badly needs better ventilation or aircon; the hotel suggested an excursion to Gibraltar without warning us of the travel times, more info should have been provided.

A very good hotel, with all you need for a one-night stay. 2 problems and one objection : - the hotel is hard to find, a more detaield map should be available. - The dining is you're not in a group is to small. - Internet access should be free.

High rise hotel directly on the beach in residential area quite close Malaga with lovely views. Bus stop outside into Malaga although this took 40 minutes or you could get a taxi which took around 15 minutes. Brilliant for access to the airport which only took around 10 minutes by car.

The hotel is nice but it is located about 10km far away from Malaga historical center. It is ideal for a quiet vacation near the beach and the sea. Our room was quite large, clean and quiet.

How to reach Hotel Tryp Guadalmar

By bus
Málaga airport is situated 9 km from the city. Guests can reach it taking the number 19 public bus that goes from the Plaza del General Torrijos square to the airport. It passes every 30 minutes from 6.30 a.m. to midnight.

By train
From the Málaga railway station there is a train towards the airport every 30 minutes from 5.45 a.m. to 11.45 p.m.
