Despite the fact that the hotel is quite far from city center (5 min walking to metro then 15 min metro), price and quality are very good. I don't think we can find such hotel in city center (for such price). buffet for breakfast very nice!

Was very pleased with the Tryp Condal Mar. Although in a quiet area away from the centre, it is only about a 5 minute walk and a 12 to 15 minute metro ride to the Plaza Catalunya. Rooms are very modern, comfortable beds, large bathroom with good range of toiletries. 3 lifts service the floors and the top floor has an unheated swimming pool, loungers and also nice soft chairs with tables near the Bar area. Staff were very friendly and obliging. Breakfast was mainly continental but we had toast,bacon and eggs each day. The ground floor bar served Pasta, Noodles, Burgers etc at night. We ate on 2 occasions and no complaints. Overall we were happy and would reccomend this hotel to our friends!

Nice hotel, clean and spacious room, perfect to go by car (no problem to park close to it), otherwise it is far away from the center and there are not many shops or restaurants close to the hotel... Public transport is around 5-10 minuts from the hotel (in Av. Diagonal o Corts Catalanes).

It's a pity that its so far away and so difficult to find but the hotel is excellent, especially the breakfast.
