very good hotel, negociated price is correct, but the standard room is so small there is only one bed table. the second guest has to let watch, glasses & so on, on the carpet. we're in a sofitel ! sorry. michel.

I am disabled. I walk with crutches. I asked whether the hotel had rooms with accessible bathrooms (ie what in the US would be called an ADA bathroom - walk in shower, shower stool &c, safe floor). I was advised to upgrade to a luxury room, which I did. The room did not have the facilities I describe, but it just cost more. So if the question were put below (why is it not?) "Would I recommend the hotel to disabled traveller?" the answer would be "no".

The only negative point is that because the restaurant was closed the prices for food offered in the bar where relaively spoken excessive. Otherwise 10 points were deserved

Nice hotel close to downtown and 10mn by public transportation from central rail station. Very quiet beside a wonderfull old church. Special price offer made the overall stay perfect. Otherwise.......a little bit expensive.

If you don`t know your way round Strasburg then hard to find. We had to ask for help to find it. Nice room with fabulous comfy bed.Breakfast and drinks a ridiculous price. We ate out. 10 minute walk to Cathedral and Petite France.

Verry nice hotel with design looks and good service. Minibar was overpriced (€7,- for a soda). Location in city center is excellent.

Only a one night stay, but well worth it! Strasbourg is a pedestrian friendly town. An easy hoof from the Hotel to anywhere in town. Take a taxi though to/from the train station!

It was our first time to Strasbourg and to the Hotel Sofitel and we were not disappointed either with the city or the hotel both excellent. On arrival at the hotel we received a very happy and curteous welcome and from then on it only got better. The rooms were fantastic and the ladies who tended the rooms did an excellent job. We would, without hesitation, recommend this hotel to anyone contemplating going to Strasbourg

At the Sofitel hotel, the 150 guest rooms are carefully decorated and offer modern furnishings and views of the city and the courtyard.In-room amenities include wireless Internet access, cable or satellite TV, radio with iPod docking station, climate control, Pay TV, direct dial phone, mini bar, safe, slippers, bathrobe, and complimentary newspapers.
Classic rooms have a double bed, whilst guests staying in the Luxury and Superior rooms can ask for two more beds.
The hotel is fully non-smoking, yet rooms for smokers are available on request. Baby cots, additional beds, and communicating Luxury rooms are also available on request.
