Very very clean rooms, an amazingly comforatable bed, a lovely terrace with very friendly stuff and great cocktails, a bit aside from the very centre, a real star by Itlian standards, would definitely recommend it. Having read all the reviews we avoided the breakfast in the restaurant, however there is nothing much cheaper around. Don't waste your time looking. You'll end up spending the same money and then queueing for a dirty lavatory.

overall the stay was pleasant. the room was spacious and quiet and kept very clean. the hotel is pricey considering it has no facilities such as a gym,sauna or a beauty salon. not too impressed with breakfast which we found rather tasteless especially the hot breakfast. also the staff at breakfast were very noisy, using the time to stack up plates, cutlery, etc and set out tables for dinner which did not make breakfast time so pleasant.

Sofitel was fantastic! The hotel is in an excellent location and the service is wonderful. The breakfast in the morning is also great. I would not hesitate to stay here again!!

We had a wonderful stay at Sofitel Roma! The staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms were whimsically decorated; colorful stripes, checks, florals and tassels. Very clean; which was a haven for my daughter who had just spent 4 weeks backbacking Europe staying in hostels! The breakfast was adequate and the location was good, once we found a short cut to the subway system. We would stay here again.

How to reach Hotel Sofitel Rome Villa Borghese

By car
From the Grande Raccordo Anulare ring-road, reachable by all main incoming highways, take exit 8 Salaria-Centro if you are coming from the North or West, or exit 12 Tiburtina-Centro if you are coming from the South or East. Then follow the indications to Roma centro and Villa Borghese.

By train
From the Termini railway station, take underground line A direction Battistini and get off at Barberini (2nd stop) or Spagna (3rd stop). The hotel is just a few minutes on foot from both underground stations.

By airplane
The Roma Fiumicino airport is connected to the city by highway or local train service, called Leonardo Express, leaving every 30 minutes for the Termini station.
The Roma Ciampino airport is just a few bus stops from the Anagnina underground station (line A). The ride to Termini takes about 20 minutes.
