Hotel Sofitel Marrakech Lounge and Spa - Marrakech

Hotel sold out at time of stay and room I had on previous trip was not available. terrible noisy room by front of hotel and highway

Hotel is very beautyfull. Absolutely worth its price. Eating and drinking in the hotel is quit expensive buth there are alternatives in the neighbourhood (for example Extra Blatt within two minutes for breakfast)and in the Medina (old city) which is a maximum 10 minutes walk away. An excellent choice if you want to combine the hustle of the Medina with quiet en peacefull hours at the magnificant pool area of the hotel.

Stunning hotel, very welcoming and helpful staff, amazing spa with the best full body massage ever, delicious breakfast. Recommend evening cocktails in the bar with the beautiful live music.

Definitely a nice site. Some lacks (broken lightbulbs, discharged batteries in the safe,...)but I would recommend it anyway.

We stayed at the Sofitel on our last night in Marrakesh and can not fault it it is well worth the money and deserves its 5* rating. We had dinner in the Orangarie resturant and it was also very good value for money fot the food we ate. I would recomend this hotel to any traveling friends

Fabulous looking hotel on which we feel we got a really good deal - cheaper than a lot of inferior hotels! However, whenever we stay at a hotel we always like to use the room service and restaurant facilities, but in this hotel they were prohibitively expensive. I don't mean expensive just by Moroccan standards but by European standards! In fact more expensive than any of the nice London hotels we've stayed in. That was a real shame as I'm sure the hotel would have got a lot more business by charging more reasonable prices - especially from us. On a good note, the staff at this hotel were, on the whole, exceptionally helpful. Especially the doorman to the pool area who we asked to take some pictures of us - we only wanted a couple but he had some really good ideas about where and how to take them, and they are some of our best holiday snaps - my wife put them straight on to Facebook! The only negative staff aspect was on one occasion when asking a question on the front desk I noticed a senior woman staff member snapping at a junior woman staff member at something she'd done wrong. It left me with a very poor impression of the senior staff member - there's no excuse for treating subordinates rudely - even if they've done something wrong. To end on a good note, the hotel reception area is an extremely cool, calm and overall pleasant area, especially coming back from a hot day out in the city.

El hotel es una maravilla, la limpieza es absoluta, pasillos adornados con rosas naturales,personal atento reservamos una habitacion doble y nos dieron una suite. lo unico negativo es que me cargaron 500 euros en concepto de fianza en la tarjeta y no me lo devolvieron hasta los 10 dias. hotel muy recomendable.

Very nice place to stay while you are in marrakesh. Very close to the Medina, a lot of restaurants and place to go. The hotel looks much better in real than on pictures. Services provided by employees are perfect. Breaksfast was excellent. The only bad point was the restaurant "l'orangerie" : it is not possible to have such a restaurant in such a place (we did not taste the french menu but only the marroco one (quality of the food was awfull). Go better outside (close to the hotel, you have this wonderful Dar Rizlane - 500 m -for example). But when back to marrakesh, we definitely would go back there.
