When we got their they didn't even have our hotel booking and at first impact it seemed as though they were doing us a favour to find us a room. Hotel rooms were wonderful the rest was depressing because everything in this hotel is BLACK and DINGY from the uniforms to the walls, upholster and restaurant. Personally I don't think the restaurant was also very CLEAN, they did not use table cloths and they never cleaned the tables thoroughly!! Apart from the above the hotel was totally GAY from employees to clients, which made us feel very UNCOMFORTABLE.

My wife and I ended a 2 week Mexican holiday with a first time 2 day LA visit and stayed at the Sofitel Hotel. A truly perfect hotel experience. Central location, walking distance to best restaraunt area and shopping and a short drive from the rest of the city. Gorgeous room, extremely comfortable bed and outstanding service from all staff! Special thanks to concierges who arranged rental car drop off and pickup at hotel as well as outstanding restaraunt reccomendations and touring map and advice. List of cars included most German models, Feraris and Lamborghinis, as well as domestics. Hotel restaraunt is fantastic as well as the spa facility. We have already recommended this hotel to freinds visiting LA and will surely return on future trips.

By car
From Los Angeles International Airport (LAX):
take Century Boulevard east, turn left onto La Cienega Boulevard, continue north on La Cienega for about 8 miles/12.9 km then turn left onto Beverly Boulevard. The hotel is on the right hand side.
From 405 Freeway:
take exit onto Santa Monica Boulevard heading east, continue east on Santa Monica Boulevard for about 6 miles/9.6 km. Turn right onto La Cienega Boulevard and continue for about 0.8 miles/1.3 km. The hotel is on the North West corner of La Cienega and Beverly Boulevards.
