Hotel Sofitel Lisbon Liberdade - Lisbon

We are a group of 4 couples stayed for 3 nites for leisure. Very convenient location. Very good conciege service. Few drawbacks though: 1. Only 2 rooms instead of 4 were ready when we checked in at 2.15pm. 2. Upon checking out, one Front Desk staff not too polite in asking us to go back to the room to retrieve and return a socket converter personally to the front desk instead of asking the housekeeping staff to check. The converter had been delivered to the room upon request by housekeeping. This is not the kind of service that one expect from top line hotels of the ACCOR Group Hotels. 3. Unreliable Wi-Fi service, lots of interruptions. This is not acceptable for a business hotel! 4. Inadequate amenities in the room: No tooth brush and paste No comb No lotion No complimentary newspaper Only one small bottle of free drinking water per room Not too many TV channels selection in room 5. Expensive breakfast-20 Euros 6. Small urban hotel---Lack of Recreation facilities

The staff at the main desk were excellent. They arranged to hold our bags as we arrived early and helped us sign on to the internet. I am sorry we could not stay longer than 1 night.

The bed was heavenly!!

Not very good experience with the restaurant 'Ad Lib'. Expensive, not high quality, too much time expended, some chaos with service,...

We love sofitel in Lisbon... we think it's beyond a hotel... it's really a great branded service. We spent the honeymoon in Lisbon, and Sofitel Lisbon is one of the best that impress us... the employee were so professional, warm and sweet. We will recommend every friend to stay with Sofitel, if they visited Lisbon. It's great for business or leisure.

Excellent experience, wonderful staff, very friendly and helpful. Gym a bit under-equipped and too small. Location great. Very satisfactory stay by all means.

Hotel was in a great location. Very central. I would stay there again. Staff were helpful and friendly. Room was a bit on the small side with no view and very dark. I was only there for one night otherwise I would have asked to move - more for a view and brightness.

I got a great price through Venere (105 Euro) and the hotel was easily a 4-5 Star hotel. Granted, the room was the smallest of the hotel, but it was very comfortable. The biggest issue with the room was that the only place to put the suitcase was the ottoman sitting chair. The hotel is very new and nice and the staff was friendly and helpful. I ate at the restaurant once and while the food was a bit pricey it was better than what I had at most restaurants in Lisbon. The location is perfect as you can walk to a metro stop, an elevator, or directly into the historic center, all with no effort. If you don't want to pay the 17 Euro breakfast, there are several cafes near the hotel. Also, there are 3 cash machines within a 3 block walk of the hotel (needed as two of the three didn't work).

We had a very good stay at the Sofitel. Staff was professional and very helpful - right down to the bellhop. There are many good restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk of the hotel, and the location could not have been better for visiting Lisbon.

If I will visit again Lisboa, I will stay in this hotel.
