Hotel de la Ville – Small Luxury Hotels of the World - Monza, Milan

Price for room ok, but there was breakfast included in our booked arrangement. When we arrived they told us the price for breakfast would be 29 Euro (!) per person. Thats absolutely crazy. So we had breakfast somewhere else. Thats not a correct handling.

This is a fabulous hotel, one of the best we have ever stayed in. It fully deserves the four stars. The room was excellent, and the staff and welcome was fantastic. It has a really nice small bar. The interiors have to be seen to be believed. Highly recommended! Monza was a pleasant surprise, and nice town, and you must visit the Duomo if you travel there.

We stayed at Hotel De la Ville only one night, and really appreciated the welcoming staff and the nice position of the Hotel, even if the street nearby is quite busy at all hours. Perfect and rich breakfast in the morning.

A very elegant boutique hotel that deserves better universal appreciation. The extreme professionalism of management and service is at level with the better known (and very close) Italian Lakes and/or Milan center Ciry hotels, but with a much higher value/price ratio.

I cannot say enough about this excellent hotel and the wonderful staff. Allie went out of his way to assure our stay was most enjoyable. Alessandra in reservations was tremendously accomodating with our changing schedule. The hotel dining room had wonderful food and also top notch service. We will stay there again and will highly recommend the hotel to business associates and friends.

Although I was only staying 1 night, the overall impression was excellent. The friendlieness of staff was great. Rooms on ground floor in the villa had a small private garden. Nice place for breakfast. I'll be back.

Single hotel rooms are very small, dont expect to swing anything in these rooms! Many advertised features such as pay-per-view movies simply did not exist. No information provided or offered at reception on the operation of in room safes. Inconvenient location if one is relying on public transport. Restaurant 7/10.
