Hotel Auberge de Cassagne & Spa - Le Pontet, Avignon

Meals were excellent!

I can highly recommend this hotel for its comprehensive pleasant atmosphere, reached by both excellent services and overall look

Beautiful hotel and grounds, very peaceful with indoor and outdoor pools plus spa facilities. Rooms very well furnished and fitted. Only drawback - long way from Avignon city centre.

We loved staying there. Our first room was a little close to the pool, so they moved us without a problem. Overall everyone was great, hospitality wonderful.Way over priced on dinner and breakfast.

A wonderful, calm and very romantic room!

A wonderful hotel hidden away on the outskirts of Avignon. We struggled to find it from the directions but once we did we were totally impressed. If you stay ensure you eat at the restaurant.

It's definitely not a place for young people. You'll find it really boring, because the atmosphere of old couples looking for total silence. The staff don´t speak english (only the frontdesk´s guys). Breakfast´s relationship between price/quality is terrible. Good things: swimming pool is nice, wine list is great (fantastic champagnes) and the hotel is really charming.

Très bon séjour. Cuisine excellente. Piscine idéale pour jeunes enfants. Le seul bémol, c'est la situation de l'hôtel un peu à l'écart de tout.

Food excellent Disapointed with noisy unsupervised children at pool who were obviously visting guests. Felt sorry for all couples looking for peace and tranquility as was advertised. Room next to the Gym quite noisy not quite relais de-silence

The accomadations were excellant. Our only problem was arriving late at night it was difficult to find our way and the map and directions were totally inadequate.

Food was unbelievable,people were the best and a great place to relax.

We recently stayed at the Auberge de Cassagne and enjoyed our stay, however, the attitude of two of the senior staff within the restaurant meant we would have reservations about returning. We received an apology from the hotel on our departure and this meant we left with a more positive view of the hotel than before. As a place to stay and as a place to eat I would recommend this hotel to others and I hope that the feedback given to the staff aforementioned will mean that they do not behave like this again in future.

WHAT CAN I SAY ? - THERE IS ONLY ONE WORD EXCELLENT OR MAYBE ALSO SIMPLY THE BEST !

This was one of the nicest places I stayed. The grounds and swimming pool are beautiful. The food and service were of the highest quality. But need a car or have to take taxi into Avignon. The hotel is away from the city. Would revisit this hotel in a heartbeat.

I will never forget my stay at the charming, unique and serenely beautiful Auberge de Cassagne. The next time I visit France, I will start in Provence and make the Auberge de Cassagne my home base. The service is unparalleled (front desk, service, restaurant and valet staff are all suberb ). Because of the thoughtful recommendations of the staff, we were able to experience places in Provence that no guide book would have led us to to. The food at the restaurant was sublime.
