Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Brufani. I was traveling on my own. Accommodation was excellent, view was spectacular, service was excellent, food was delicious (I had dinner and breakfast there). The best hotel in Perugia!

Even if I was completely aware about rates, I consider the breakfast expensive. It is my only smallest point. Brufani hotel is simply wonderful

Hotel Brufani is a quitely located grand hotel in the centre of Perugia. The fact that it is a grand hotel is clearly reflected in the prices: I had to pay 31 euros/day to park the car in the garage and breakfast was 36 euros/person! These are unbelievable prices in comparison to other hotels. (For example the really excellent grand hotel Le Meredien in Brussels will charge you 15 euros for a really amazing breakfast). I guess these prices are so high because the prices of the rooms are actually low: it is the sort of hotel where you normally pay near 200 euros or more for a double room. I accepted the costs for the parking, but not for the breakfast. We simply decided to have an "Italian breakfast" in a cafe (there are many nearby) for 3 euros per person (cappucino and a bun). In Italy you don't want an extensive European or British breakfast anyway, as you will have an extensive lunch between 1 and 3pm! We also liked the underground swimming pool a lot, although there is not more space than for 3 people. We were lucky as we were the only ones making use of it. So in general, a good hotel, but watch your bill, anything extra will cost you a fortune. (On the other hand, it is a grand a hotel, and there are not many of these nowadays; so if you can afford it, ignore my advice.)

I liked the hotel very much. It was elegant, clean, quiet, and in a lovely part of perugia. My only complaint is that, in contrast to all the other hotels we stayed at during our trip to italy, and despite it's being the most expensive, it was the only one which did not include breakfast in the cost.

We were on the first night of our 25th anniversary trip. The hotel provided a very nice bottle of Prosecco at no additional cost. Very nice service touch.

An excellent 5 star hotel in the center of Perugia. We spent 3 nights at the Brufani and we have stayed at 3 other Sina hotels (Firenze and Venice). The only disappointment was the restaurant not quite up to gourmet status. The surroundings were spoiled by the remnants of a festival right in front of the hotel. Excellent bar with delicous snacks and service. Location had a beautiful view of the countryside. There is an excellent restaurant near by Trattoria San Lorenzo. The best meal we had in 16 days in Italy.

The Brufani is a lovely hotel. It is overpriced though for the quality of the services. Use the public parking at the bus station (17 Euros per day compared to 31 Euros for hotel parking....the walk is 5 minutes and alot of it is by the escalator underground!...interesting walk) and the wifi hookup is not free..nominal at 3 Euros per hour, but it should hve been free for what you pay for a room!...Most of the staff was quite helpful and friendly from the bellmen to the servers to housekeeping. The front desk was however was hauty and even a bit rude. When I mentionned at check out that when my daughter had tried to call to leave a message for us before our arrival and was treated rudely over the phonoe, the desk attendant acted like I must have beeb mistaken. Also - the chocolate festival was very commercial...I was much more pleased with a small food and wine festival in Certolda where there were artisan chocolate makers. Le Follie di Arnolfo, a smalll company in Tuscany. Wow! I would not stay here again.

I have never expected to have such experience staying only one night in Perugia. At my next visit to Perugia, I should take at least three nights to see such spectacular viewing from my guest room window. Thank you for booking me at Brufani.

Serramenti vecchi.

This is suppposed to be a luxury hotel but during our stay it was luxury only in price and not in service. The 'gymnasium' consisted of a nonfunctioning treadmill and stairmaster and a working stationary bicycle. The water in the pool had a very unpleasant smell. The airconditioning in our room did not work. Internet access was prominently advertised but was unavailable when requested. The room was booked as bed and breakfast but they wanted to charge €36 per person for breakfast(after talking with 3 different people this was resolved). Parking is €31 per day which turned out to be the best value that they offered. Finally, they use linen sheets on the beds; if you've never tried to sleep on linen, spare yourself and don't. The Brufani Palace has the potential for being a great hotel if they resolve their problems. I would stay there again but with much lower expectations.

Our stay here could not have been better. From the moment we arrived until we left, which by-the-way was @ 3:30 am so we could make our flight in Rome. The staff helped us immensely with at all times. Our week here certainly makes us want to return, and we will. A special thanks to Carmela.

This is a wonderful 4-5 star hotel in Perugia in the best location at the top of the city. The rooms and all the public areas are excellent. Staff was very helpful. It has the key location on the main street with all the shops and cathedral , etc.

This was my second time at the Brufani. It is the ONLY place I would ever stay in Perugia. The rooms are comfortable, clean, luxurious. The maid service perfect, the staff friendly above and beyond. The location is excellent and convenient. The views exquisite. Breakfast was wonderful....cappunccino offered as much as you want. The pool was the perfect place to unwind among the ruins. We used the pool and steam room each night before sleeping. We cannot recommend this hotel enough. Molto satisfatto - Very happy.

The breakfasts were excellent and the pool area was beautiful. (I wish I had brought a bathing suit.) We had trouble with the shower in the bathroom which we brought to the hotel's attention, but it was never fixed during our stay. All in all the hotel gets high marks.
