Hotel Sheraton Salzburg - Salzburg

Older than expected.

Sheraton salzburg hotel is one of the best hotel in the world. The front staff and concierge is very helpful to anything you ask for it. I am very impressed their well coming hospitality. I will definitely recommend to everyone.

First time to Salzburg and would highly recommend it and expecially the Shearton it was perfect

It was the first time I stayed at Hotel Sheraton Salzburg, but certainly not the last time! I was fully satisfied.

Hotel is located on the Mirabell Gardens and not too far from the train station. Unfortunately smoking is permitted in the lobby and the Cafe so they get a lower score there. Overall I enjoyed my stay. The only complaint I have is that although the breakfast was excellent it was not included and WAY overpriced.

First time in Salzburg, but will return in the future. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. It's very close to all city attractions and the staff is very friendly. The staff speaks english very well and go out of there way to help will all your needs. This hotel is compares very well with hotels in the USA.

Its a 15 minute walk to the old city. Parking is underground and right next to the hotel. There is a nice park behind the hotel. When I last stayed here 23 years ago I stayed on the park side and itr was a bit more quiet than the street side. The lobby is attractive (and as I recall the exact colours of 23 years ago) but there is no casual seating. Drinks are aoofered in all seats, making it slightly uncomfortable if you want to just meet someone in the lobby. The motorised shades are very good in keep out sunlight and partially successful in damping street noise...and fun to play with as well!

A nice hotel on a quiet side street. About a 10 minute walk to the old part of town on the other side of the river. Convenient parking

I would not rate this a luxury hotel. For the price we paid breakfast should be included.

Lovely hotel located within reasonable walking distance of old town. Service polite, professional and efficient, although an odd smile or two would not have gone amiss! Breakfast fabulous.

Very large room, clean and excellent service. I would definetly consider it again by my next visit.

Sheraton Salzburg, we miss you! I would not stay anywhere else in Salzburg. It was always a pleasant 10 minute walk through the gardens and down the street to old town, a lovely retreat from the tourists and the bustle! True elegance with quality service. Thank you for the starwood preferred upgrade, we had a lovely stay!

Well... What shall we tell you. We do travel all over Europe and we do know what kind of hospitality an Hotel of SUCH "5 star" service must provide. The Sheraton Salsburg amasingly works on all-exclusive system. The price do not include anything, even breakfast. For 44 euro it is easier to get complete stomach satisfaction in any of the most expensive restaurants in the Old City. NOT in Sheraton. DO NOT LET THEM DRIVE YOUR CAR IN OR OUT OF THE GARAGE (15 euro a day) For this sum of money you'll recieve scratches on the car you've rented for your journey. We had. EVEN Business center (internet etc, which is europe-wide free in the hotels of this class - in Sheraton Salsburg costs 0,14 a minute. And the last but not the least of the useful information. They charge your credit card a day before your arrival, then they ask for your credibility and block again considerable sum of money in case you eat , or drink or probably breathe some extra air the hotel. The price originaly was 99 EU. We payed 130 and still have 200 more blocked on the Visa. It is easy to count the total sum isn't it? P.S. Forget about the pleasure. Pleasant stay may offer any other luxury hotels in the vicinity. There are plenty of them, trust us. By the By the little town named Gmunden, close to Salsburg is charming...

It was not possible to get a double room with king size bed; neither to book this kind of room trhoug the web site! We were displaced in a twin bed room
