The room was very big, modern and clean. The view of the Manhattan skyline is amazing. Make sure you take a room with skyline-view, it is worth the money. It was perfect for our NY-trip. You couldn´t have gotten such a good hotel for the same amount of money in Manhattan. We appreciated the quiet hotel and surroundings after a loud and busy day in NYC. It was perfect to relax and have a good nights sleep before starting another interesting and exciting day in Manhattan. There is no free WiFi in the room, you have to sit in the lobby to use free WiFi. You can take the ferry (directly infront of the hotel, buy tickets at the reception) which costs 9$ one way. You arrive next to the Intrepid Museum and the island cruise company. We recommend taking the bus (goes near the hotel) to Port Authority (3,20$ per person). You can walk to Times Square from there or take the Subway to any other destination in Manhattan. When going back to the hotel we also went from Port Authority. You need bus 159R, 156 or 158. Bus 159R leaves from Gate 201. Staff was always very friendly and helpful. Indoor-pool was a nice thing to have, especially after a long day sight-seeing in NYC! You can walk along the river into the city (I think it is Hoboken?). About 10 min walk, beautiful in the evening.
