There are two important things to note about Lebbiano residence: 1. It's absolutely gorgeous!!! 2. You do need a car. It can be a little difficult to find, however if you have a GPS then it should be no problem. It's a little bit of a drive to Florence, but if you are driving, I can't recommend it enough! The cabin was beautiful, modern, spotlessly clean, fully equipped, and the jacuzzi shower was very nice after a long day of sightseeing. We would come home, prepare a quick supper and eat outside our cabin, listening to the birds sing, admiring the wooded landscape. It was just so nice to return to a calm feeling of home after the busyness of the city. The property is simply gorgeous, too. We came when it was a little chilly, but they do have a pool and a small lake during the warmer weather and you can go hiking in the woods surrounding the area. It's even prettier than the pictures. The staff was also welcoming, super friendly, spoke English and always went out of their way to make our stay perfect. I honestly can't recommend Lebbiano enough. We have traveled quite a bit,and have standards, but this was one of the nicest places we've stayed, and the fact that the price is so affordable is just an added perk. (Oh, and I've lived in the US for most of my life, if that matters to anyone) Our stay in Florence was simply wonderful.

Coming from motorway A1:
Exit at Firenze Certosa at the round turn left direction Firenze
Continue for 2,4 km and then turn left (Via delle Bagnese) direction Scandicci. Continue for 3,3 km and at the stop lights turn left (Via Poccianti). Continue for 2,9 km, then turn left (Via dell’Arrigo) at Restaurant Anastasia. Continue for 2,5 km, following the sign for Lebbiano Hotel Tourist Residence.

Coming from motorway A11 or FI.PI.LI:
Exit at Firenze Nord, then immediately turn right over the viaduct (viadotto dell’Indiano) towards Scandicci center direction Vingone - colline – Poggio Valicaia. Then Via di Mosciano, turn left at Restaurant Anastasia. Follow sign for Lebbiano Hotel Tourist Residence.
