It is a house in an industrial town, without any charm (the house, the street, the town…). No convenience near, only clothing workshops. No service, only somebody to give the keys (you must phone to have an apointment at a precise hour, otherwise there is nobody there) and you must go the next morning to another near house (workshop) to register and pay... You hear the neighbours in the others rooms very close and the workers of this workshop speaking loud very early in the morning, but you must keep the windows open because it's very hot. No clim and no aeration, very suffocating. The price is very high, far too expensive, for the service and the convenience.

The property was very hard to locate but once we were there the owners were extremely helpful. In fact they went out of their way to help us navigate in and out of Prato.

This is not a hotel in the true sense - its more like rooms rented out.There is no formal reception area etc.But the rooms and the villa is outstanding in terms of decor,furnishings and cleanliness. This place is hard to find and no public transport narby - hence suitable only for access by Car. Hotel owner Chiara was very helpful - she sent across a person - Dante to pick us up from Prato after we got lost.This person Dante was the caretaker and took excellent care of us.He accompanied us to important places like the railway station highway etc. and also picked us up on the way back - making sure we were not lost.Rooms had a big patio/baclony which was very useful for stretching out - especially since we had kids.No breakfast offered - but there is a restaurant and a breakfast nearby. Make sure you carry the phone number of the place whil trying to reach it - as it is not very easy.

From the A1 highway, take exit Prato and continue on the SP126 road towards Prato est. Go through Prato and turn right on via Fonda di Mezzana. Go through Paperino and continue on via del Ferro and via di Baciacavallo. Take via Roma and via Paronese, turn left on via del Molinuzzo and then left again on via Traversa il Crocifisso.
