For the low price of this accommodation I was astounded by its proximity to the beach and it's overall location. A clean affordable hotel with nice staff. The Pizza restaurant at Boboba served the best Calzone I have ever tasted. The bus stop for the regular service to Pisa is right outside the hotel which was handy. The down side was that the residents in the apartment below were really noisy and because of the high ceilings we could here chairs dragging across the tiled floors etc. Overall I was impressed that 100 metres from the hotel was the pebbled beach and every night my family and I were able to watch the sunset over the sea. Great for the price.

This was a very nice holiday and was good value for money. The pool area was very quiet and there were always plenty of beds available however the waterslide was not in use between 12pm and 4pm. The on site restaurant served good food at reasonable prices. Our main disappointment was that the private beach mentioned on the hotel information is charged at an additional 10 Euros per day. The staff were very friendly and all spoke good English. The rooms were spacious and came with every thing we needed. We paid an extra 25 euro for the use of the kitchen, there was no kettle, no oven or microwave so you are basically getting a hob, fridge and kitchen utensils. There are other restaurants within walking distance and the bus that runs from outside the hotel to Pisa and Tirrenia is cheap and reliable. Overall we enjoyed this holiday but with it been slightly out of season and us having a few rainy days we did get a little bored! I would suggest it is more suitable for young families than couples.

The place is a bit run-down, but okay for a short stay (1-2 nights). We would never spend a whole holiday there.

The Boboba is off the beaten path, and we were there in the off season, but the beautiful surroundings and great price were well worth it.

Very nice staff. Appart from the waiter who grumped and groaned, even though we were the only customers in . Receptionist was really nice and even wished me a happy birthday!! Rooms were very clean , spacious and well planned. This place is great if you have a family. Is a wee bit out of the city of Pisa though. Be prepared to get on a bus ride which only takes 30 mins. Get on the bus at the main bus station. Last bus for for the hotel at the marina leaves pisa at 11.30 pm across the road from the bus station, normally it`s stand number 2. The park at the hotel was lovely too..don`t let the name put you off...."FANNY PARK" !!!

This room had the worst bed we have slept in! We both had sore backs after sleeping on it. It felt like some cloth draped over springs. The location was good, the kitchen was well-equipped and the staff were super helpful

We stayed in May but, unbeknownst to us, the pool and beach were closed until June 1. The desk clerk was surly and several times made us wait unnecessarily. There were NO services provided without stiff charges. Room cleaning was 12 euros a day and there were charges for toilet paper, soap, bed changing, etc etc. The fees would have wiped out the apparent savings on the room price. This was our least favorite hotel in Italy during our two week sojourn. It would be ok however, as a beach house if the beach and pool were open.

very good for march and trips to pisa, lucca, volterra, vinci; for the night you need oropax, because the heating is working very loud and there is no possibility to stop this monster; if you like cats-you will never be alone.Good place for traveling around and friendly people everywhere

this little hotel is a real find. my partner and i went twice in 2007 out of season and we were not dissapointed. the location is quite quiet, very relaxing and excellent for a stroll down the waterfront.the rooms in boboba are good and very clean with all the usual facilities that self catering has to offer. the food in the hotel is very good and if you walk around you will find some truly lovely places to eat at a very reasonable price.getting too and from other areas is easy, the bus stop is just outside the hotel and pisa is only fifteen minutes away where you can gat the train to any venue you like.the area is typicaly italian and with very polite locals, this is the reason we would go back.this particular location would be suitable to lots of people but be aware it is very quiet but also relaxing with florence only an hour away. marina di pisa is a place i will go again and certainly to boboba ( with the coldest pool i have ever been in ) ha.

Marina di Pisa was a great place and we enjoyed our stay here, except for our very loud neighbours. They partied until 5.30am. No-one at reception from 11pm to 7am. As we weren't sure which room it was nothing could be done, despite more people complaints. We based ourselves here and did day trips to the surrounding areas.

Excellent for the price of 45 euros. Quiet area, very friendly reception staff. Not a bad pool. Surprisingly good wood fired pizzas in restaurant. Rooms were clean but floor could have been a bit better. There's buses but it's better to have a car as it's a good base to explore Tuscany. The beach has peebles but at 3km south it's sand.

Excellent stay - but if we had been abel to see the sea from our room - just by cutting the top of the trees - it would have been more than perfect. AND if someone had told us about the gasolin-strike!

This was the first time we stayed at Residence Boboba. Both before we came, and when we had arrived, we were treated very good with excellent service by the staff at the hotel. The apartments were very private, even though they were close to all the facilites. Some noice from chairs scraping the floor, but it would easily be fixed with some filt under the legs of all the chairs. The entertainment on the outdoor scene was very fun, and the highlight every night at about ten o'clock and sometimes for one and a half hours. It was easy to get to the hotel from the airport, with transport like we ordered, or bus to Pisa and another bus to the hotel. We hope to come back some day.

Quite a slice of an Italian resort for an American to see! This is really meant for those who want to spend a week at the beach and pool, taking advantage of the on-site nightly entertainment. Not what we expected - but LOVED the opportunity to see it all up close! The on-site resteraunt was good. The nearness of Pisa and other monuments made the location a good one. The staff were very helpful. A great place for kids! A family atmosphere for sure.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. I would recommend this resort to families with young children. I felt we got what we paid for - it didn't cost a fortune but the facilities were basic. I have to commend the staff they were excellent - we were brought fresh towels every day and we were asked regularly did we want our bed linen changed - I found this amazing. There isn't a whole lot in the resort, especially for evening entertainment, but it is a great base for travelling. The beach was perfect especially if you have small kids, also the bigger kids loved the pool and the slide. I would recommend a car.

The Hotel staff were efficient and friendly, fortunately for us they spoke English very well. The only downside were the rooms were very noisy at times. The inconsiderate people who scrape chairs across the floor at all hours of the night. The sound carried. They really need to sound proof the rooms. The location was good for travelling. The buses ran every 30 minutes and it was only about 1.8 euros in to the centre of Pisa. From there a short walk to the Train station and you could be 1Hour away from Florence. A return trip costs only 10 Euros. We were very lucky with the weather (30 degrees +)so the swimming pool was a blessing.
