This is a beautiful location, close to Florence, Sienna and many more wonderful sights. The hosts couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. We ate in the hotel for two nights and had a truly, tasty Italian feast each night, cooked by the owner. Would loved to have stayed much, much longer.

Villa la Cappella es un hotel precioso, con unas vistas espectaculares de las colinas de la Toscana. Fabrizio, el dueño, te hace sentirte como en casa, aconsejandote, a tu servicio y con un humor excelente. Un unico pero... en verano hay muchas avispas, lo cual no se puede solucionar... pero si evitar que molesten en las habitaciones... con unas mosquiteras... asi no hay que tener las ventanas cerradas con el calor que supone... si no fuese por ese detalle... seria un 10 claro.

Communication with La Capella was fast and clear, and the location instructions were very appropriate, giving specific directions coming from Rome. We could find the Villa in no time. We were upgraded to a better room on the 2nd floor overlooking the Capella's tower. There are plenty of little enchanting towns around like San Gimiggiano (15-20 min), Montespertoli (5 min) and it is easy to get to Pisa, Lucca and Florence from there. The villa is in the middle of Tuscany territory so walking the little roads enjoying the view is in itself a treat. Highly recommended.

How to reach Villa la Cappella

By car
From the North, from the A1 motorway, exit at 'Firenze Scandicci'. Then proceed on the FI-PI-LI road until Livorno-Pisa. Take the exit 'La Ginestra-Montespertoli'. Proceed until Montespertoli and just before the town, turn left towards 'Lucardo-Siena'. Keep always the left without entering the town. After a couple of kilometres, the road goes through a large cypress park; after the bend, you will find, on the left, the gate of the villa.

From the South, from the A1 motorway, exit at 'Firenze Certosa' and take the highway for Siena. Exit at 'San Casciano-Montespertoli'. Once you have reached the town of San Casciano, you will find, on your right hand, the Certaldo-San Pancrazio direction. After San Pancrazio, follow the road until Certaldo. Then take the road on your left, passing through Fornacette (please do not follow the first sign to Montespertoli). After Fornacette, by the end of the hill, on your right you will find the second indication for Montespertoli. Take it and after two kilometres you will find the Villa la Cappella Serviced Apartments on the right side.

By train
From Florence Santa Maria Novella train station, follow the Siena direction. Take the motorway to Siena and exit at Bargino. Then follow signs to San Pancrazio/Montespertoli/Certaldo. After San Pancrazio follow the road to Certaldo. Then take the road on your left passing through Fornacette (please do not follow the first sign to Montespertoli). After Fornacette, by the end of the hill, on your right you will find the second indication for Montespertoli. Take it and after two kilometers you will find the Villa la Cappella Serviced Apartments on the right side.

By airplane
