This was the first time staying at Residence Donatello. From the first moment, it seemed as though we were the first guests in months. The entire room was covered in dust and just plain unclean. The toilet tank kept running through the night, Air Conditioning was not working, very noisy at night as the windows are against a back alley where a commercial warehourse is stationed and trucks start rolling at 5am. Many screws needed tightening, floor was sticky.... in general just a poor experienceiii.

The staff were v friendly and helpful. The location was excellent. However I had formed the impression that the Residence offered apartments (i.e. bedroom, lounge/dinning room, bathroom). In reality it was little more than a spartan hotel room with a kitchenette in the corner. If you want a cheapish hotel with friendly staff in a location convenient for the Metro its great. If you are looking for apartments, look elsewhere

METHODS OF PAYMENT
Venere.com does not debit your credit card for your reservations. You will be asked to insert your credit card details which will be sent to the property only as a guarantee of the reservation. The bill will then have to be settled directly at the hotel. In case your chosen hotel needs a deposit, this information will be included in the "Cancellation policy" section and the deposit will have to be settled directly with the pre-selected property. It is not possible to cancel your reservation if you selected and booked a room indicated as "PREPAID/NOT REFUNDABLE". In this case, the total amount of your stay will be charged to your credit card by the hotel at the time of booking.

Check-in: the apartments/studios are available at any time after 3 p.m.
Check-out: it is necessary to leave the apartments/studios not later than noon.

INCLUDED/NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE
Use of high-speed Internet access in the apartments is free of charge.
Use of the safe is included in the price.
Cots are free of charge.
Parking is subject to an additional charge of €15,00 per day.
Breakfast is included in the price for stays shorter than one week.

CANCELLATION POLICY
In case of late cancellation or no show, the first night will be charged on your credit card. For the period April 20 - April 26 all the reserved days will be charged in case of late cancellation or no show. For the same period the payment for the reserved apartments(s) will have to be made at the moment of check-in.
You may cancel your reservation without penalty up until 3 days before your arrival date, by accessing the Your Reservations page. It is not possible to cancel your reservation if you selected and booked a room indicated as "PREPAID/NOT REFUNDABLE".
