When I booked I specofically indicated that I was a wheelchair user and would need facilities and accomodation to meet my needs, however this request was not met, and therefore I do not recommend this hotel for anyone other than the ambulant disabled i.e those who walk with a stick, and the able bodied. The staff are not to blame, but the owners need to stop advertising this hotel as suitable for wheelchair users, because it plainly isn't, sorry! I am a 43 year old woman, and was travelling with my Mother, who is 74.

We were pleased with the apartment. Just a couiple of comments: It would have been nice to have some sun loungers around the pool. We stayed for 4 nights and it would have been nice to have had the room cleaned once. Pricewise, it could have been a bit cheaper as it compared to some hotels.

After updating the map software in my GPS, my unit (the top of the line TomTom) couldn't find the place and it took us to a pretty rough part of Marseille. Of course, never rely totally on the GPS! A work-around for locating this property with GPS is to use Park Borely as a landmark. Head there and the hotel is across the street. Don't look for "Adagio," rather, Pierre and Vacances. It's a great place and finding it isn't that hard, but this advice could help. Overall, the hotel is fine but we weren't all that impressed with Marseille. I'd probably skip it altogether and spend more time in Cannes, Eze, Monaco or other places in the south of France. Marseille is a big city with all the big city problems.

From Highway A7: exit at Marseille and follow direction Vieux Port, then La Plage.

By public transportation
From Marseille Saint-Charles train station: take underground line 2, direction Sainte-Marguerite Dromel, and get off at Rond-Point du Prado station. Then, take bus n°19 or 83 and get off at Parc Borély stop.
