The rooms were basically nice, but ours had no balcony and was a bit dark so it would have been a bit "claustrophobic" in the case of bad weather (which we did not have) (our room was on the bottom floor, so the windows were at street level which made you keep the curtains closed). The windows were double or triple glass and served to damp the noise from the street outside quite well (and it was a very silent street). However, noise insulation withing the building was quite bad, and we were seriously disturbed by some neighbours (on the next floor, I believe); it was not that they were partying or so, but they walked around, talked loud and moved things at very late AND early hours, and due to the bad noise insulation we had to sleep with earplugs, something I do not really enjoy doing when I am on holiday. The owners were very friendly. When I state below that I would not return, the only reason for this is actually the noise experience. But I recognise that I am extremely sensitive about this issue: I live in a noisy city and really hate to suffer noise when I am on holiday.

Could not have chosen a more ideal place to stay for a weekend away. A group of 5 of us rented the apartment and it was exactly what we were after. Clean, so quiet at night and fitted with air-conditioning so not a problem sleeping through the warm summer nights! Excellent location - 5 mins walk to beach - no need for public transport. Our hosts were welcoming and helpful. Highly recommended and would definitely return!
