Overall a nice room for the price paid (50£/night). It was simple but okay. Quite small bathroom but usable. The room was clean and new bedsheets and towels were provided very day. The small kitchen was fine and had the basic facilities you would need for preparing a meal and making coffee/tea. However on the negative side the beds were very poor and the room a bit small. The staff were generally friendly and helpfull but had different explainations to issues. The keycard for the room needed to be refreshed every day in the reception and the staff had different explainations to this. On arrival the reserved room was not available and the one we got was not so nice and right next to the reception. It had very little daylight, there were noise from the reception and the door was unstraight letting in rays of light at night. However after two nights they offered us to move to another room on the second floor which was much nicer at no extra cost. On the day of departure it turned out there was a fee of 10£ for leaving our luggage in the reception after checkout of the room. This was not written on the web side nor was it mentioned in e-mails. Overall a fine room for the price and we would recommend this to other couples going to London for a short stay. Basically you get what you pay for except the beds which were poor.

Quite simply don't stay here. The hotel was old, run down and most of the sparse fixtures didn't even work. The staff were generally incompetent, unhelpful and we didn't get the type of room we specifically booked.

Your Review-Website does not work properly! Only 0 - which is good enough for Warwick-house. Hotel-surroundigs/Location were quite allright, central and as we had a nice look at all the junk in the backyard, the hotel was rather quiet. The "Hotel" was a dirty, worn-down tincan. No double-room, only place for one person + small suitcase. Welcome? Service? Cleaning? We did not notice any. Your Photograph shows the rather lovely staircase in No.109, but we were (this seems the rule)transferred to lousy No.60 (opposite). Fazit: Never again! Regards

This hotel is terrible! i can't understand why they call their rooms "apartments"! you take a risk eveytime you touch anything! everything in our room was dirty or old or broken, no breakfast served, we had only a small kitchen hidden in a cupboard near a tiny bathroom. staff wasn't helpful, in particular a man with a pair of glasses. there isn't any lift so prepare yourself to drag your laggage up to severe narrow flights of steps! it's cheap but i think it's possible to find a better hotel in the same street at the same price. i don't recommend it!

Firstly the room I stayed was next to the main road the noise was terrible it was like sleeping on the highway. The curtains were torn and there was a mouldy smell. The receptionist had his T.V on and I could hear it loudly.

We were charged more than we were told when we made the reservation. The electricity in the kitchenette didnt work, so the microwave etc. were out. Poorly equipped kitchen, ok for making breakfast but not enough utencils for any kind of dinner. The bed were so worn out you could feel every spring in it so we didnt sleep well at all. At least it was clean, thats the only plus I can think of.

The hotel is nice and near to the tube station. Maybe only the breakfast area is too small.

I am aware that £55 are a little amount if compared to what you can pay in city like London, nevertheless I would suggest the people@Venere.com to personally check the estates they suggest before publishing offers. My room DID NOT have the toilet door! Of course, I was asked to pay in advance... When I asked the manager to solve the problem, he said he would fix it immediately. result: my door was not substituted nor my room changed when I came back in the evening. the day after I had a big argument with the manager, and finally I got some money back (and it was not easy): his though was that the hotel was not responsible for this situation. My rating for this hotel is really poor.

I expected a small room, but that was ridiculous. I could barely move inside. the ventilation was simply inexistant, As i was not allowed to open the windows when I got in my room. The worst was the walls that needed urgently a coat of paint and the ceiling that had a crack on it. One day I got back at 4pm anf my room was still untidy. Unbelievable!

This 'hotel' wasn't very good at all. The rooms were small, messy & a lot of fixtures & fittings were broke - but what can you expect for £30 a night in London? I wouldn't stay there again unless I needed a room for 1 night on the cheap. BY THE WAY, DON'T GET THE ENGLISH BREAKFAST - that's if you can fit into the TINY breakfast room in the first place! The staff are generally ok, but don't speak much English.

The Hotel has a very good location because very close (4 min walking)to the underground station where 2 lines stop. Do not choose the room in the ground floor because to noisy. The breakfast is poor - to get the english breakfast you must pay 5 £ more!!
