We've booked quadruple room, which came with twin bed in one room and foldable sofa in connecting room (expected normal bed). No air conditioning - offered ventilators, which didn't help during sunny summer (you can't open windows since hotel on right on the street and trafic echoes very well). Pool picture and other picures correspond to other hotel, which is owned by same owners but somewhere uphill and this was our major disappointment.

We will stay there next year. No doubt! A couple word about food around [residence has no restaurant]. Pizzeria, next to the residence (on your left side, when you walking out) is really good. Good wine, perfect (but not "fancy") food and lovely service. My recommendations!!! Restorante on the left side in next hotel... Good food, however really poor service. Normal waiting time, after you take the table is 12-25 min... some people may have preferable service in front of you, while you waiting for menu... (no drinks even offered) especially if they are are local authorities or "tough" businessmen... Laughable, but true.

From A11 motorway, take the Pistoia exit. Continue towards Vinci-Empoli. After passing Ponte Stella, continue towards Vinci-Lamporecchio-Empoli. Go up the hill until San Baronto. The resort is located in via Montalbano 47/49.

By train
From Pistoia train station, take the bus for Lamporecchio, that stops just in front of the resort.
