Hemos encontrado que la calidad no se corresponde con el precio. Tuvimos que esperar a que trajeran más pastas para poder desayunar. La ducha no funcionaba bien. Dispone de un parcking muy pequeño y está alejado del pueblo. El pueblo, no obstante, es muy acojedor.Muy recomendable el restaurant La Piazzeta, el dueño está casado con una chica de Tarragona y con los españoles de desvive.

My husband and I, together with our 1 year old stayed at the Miramere in the last week of September. I can't say we were delighted with the property. Firstly, the people at the hotel never confirmed, despite my enquiries, whether or not they would provide a cot for the baby. Luckily, we brought our own, as one was not provided, despite including her on the booking. Secondly, the Miramere is sandwiched between two very busy roads, just above the train station. There's constant traffic noise and you're woken through the night with tannoy announcements from the station. Thirdly, according to the website, there is a restaurant attached to the Miramere. This is not true. The restaurant only seems to open for parties - again more noise late at night! The availability of the restaurant was one of the chief reasons why we chose the Miramere, so this really disappointed us. Fourthly, breakfasts were only served in our room, and for a "4 star" hotel, were apalling. I know not all European countries favour the large breakfasts we're used to in Ireland, but in a hotel claiming 4 stars, one expects more than a couple of burnt croissants and some bread rolls. The staff were helpful and did give us good advice on day trips etc, and it was great to have a pool for a mid afternoon dip! All in all, however, by international standards, the Miramere is closer to a 2 star hotel. We are regular visitors to Italy, but found the Italian riveria not as impressive (in terms of scenery and cuisine) as other parts such as Umbria and Tuscany. Luckily though, the weather was beautiful, so we were out and about lots and overall had a great holiday. I merely add the critical comments above as forewarning to other travellers. Bon voyage! :o)

Hotel is acceptable in service . it looks a good 3 stars hotel ; 4 stars qualification is too much for such structure.

l'hotel est agréable mais la chambre était bruyante raison pour laquelle nous avons écourté notre séjour.C'est vraiment dommage pour un hotel de ce type et à ce prix. Le parking était payant (8 euros par jour) et l'acces à la plage de l'hotel également ce qui n'était pas mentionné sur le site. Heureusement qu'il a de nombreuses places de parking à proximité de l'hotel et qu'avec la piscine sur place, on n'a pas vraiment envie d'aller se serrer sur la plage.(foule)

the miramare hotel is this kind of "special" house, that you cannot find too often: the old classic building itself (with its surrounding) is just gorgeous! it's such a great feeling to be guest in a house that BELONGS to the place where it is built and the over 100 years old miramare has that breath of authenticity! it makes you feel to RESIDE! it's very close to railway station, offers a just lovely sight to the sea and imperia (from our room) and people are friendly and helpfull. sometimes one can see that the building is old and imperia is not a very quiet place, but we think, that's part of a stay at the riviera! one of the best choices we ever made!

The Miramare is a beautiful hotel located in the wonderful town of Imperia. Everything about this hotel is "First Class"-rooms, staff, grounds, pool, breakfast, everything. This is definitely a 4 Star Hotel. My wife and I do speak one word of Italian, however, the people of Imperia were so nice and helpful that not speaking any Italian was only a slight inconvience. We were at the Miramare for 5 days in September before moving on to St Tropez and we actually hated to leave Imperia. We are an American couple from the Deep South and we know how to have fun and the Miramare and the wonderful city of Imperia is a Great Place to have fun.
