This was an amazing facility and we were glad that we persevered in locating it, which took over an hour. The Venere.com directions did not give highway numbers and gave only directions from Strade A1 rather than all roads. Since we came in on a backroad, the directions were confusing. They also used terms we did not recognize(flat crossing). After realizing that it's a railroad crossing, we found three in that area. We asked 6 people and actually had one guide us part of the way. Hotel signs would have been very helpful. Facility, staff and breakfast buffet with fresh locally grown fruit were wonderful. Definitely would recommend and stay again ourselves - now that we know where it is. Our evening meal was at the Eloise a bit further down the road and was amazing - pumpkin soup. We would have liked more time in the area to enjoy the beach and the medieval town of Castiglione de Pescaia. Vedry pastoral, agricultural and secluded!

How to reach Country Resort Guadalupe

By car
From Florence: drive along the Firenze-Siena highway and then along the Grosseto-Siena freeway. Take the exit Roselle-Castiglione della Pescaia, proceed along the Vecchia Aurelia Street in the direction of Livorno and take the exit Braccagni. Drive through Braccagni, pass the level crossing, and take the Strada Provinciale del Bozzone street. After 800 metres/875 yards you will see on the left the entrance of Country Resort Guadalupe.
From Livorno (Leghorn): drive along the 4-lane street in the direction of Grosseto and take the exit Braccagni. Then follow the aforementioned indications.
From Rome: take the highway in the direction of Civitavecchia and then take the SS.1 Aurelia street in the direction of Grosseto. Then follow the aforementioned indications.
From Milan take the A1 highway to Florence and then follow the aforementioned indications.
