There is also a pool conveniently situated where the sun always shines and a charming restaurant with floor to ceiling windows that greatly enhance the eating experience. Our restaurant is committed to making sure you experience the full plethora of Sicilian foods and wine, serving above all, country- style local dishes. We specialize in the essence of traditional, local cuisine using only the freshest products sometimes grown only a few km from the Borgo. While being immersed in this enveloping atmosphere, one is also in close proximity to the charming seaside town of Gioiosa Marea (only 3,5 km away, of mostly straight roads) and can conveniently visit other areas of Sicily while using our Borgo as a base for planning trips, as well as a calm, serene place to return to. There is also a common room with a fireplace and reading area with many books and maps on the area and the island on whole.

double room We offer a range of independent villa-style apartments. The studio apartments are 20 square meters and comfortably accommodate two people. The two-room apartments are approximately 35 square meters and are ideal for up to 3 people. We also have two-level apartments. These apartments are approximately 50 square meters; and sleep up to 5 people. All of the apartments are tastefully decorated. Each has its own kitchen/living-room area. The kitchens are well equipped with stoves and refrigerators; and have all accessories: dishes, glasses, cups, cookware, utensils and coffeemakers. The apartments are furnished with a combination of double beds, single beds and sofa-beds. There is air-conditioning and heat in all rooms. Every apartment has satellite television. The bathrooms come with showers, bidets, and WCs. Each apartment has its own private outside space. Some have balconies and some have stone-paved patios with garden furniture.

From Palermo: Take highway (autostrada A20) in the direction of Messina (green signs indicate highways). Exit this highway at Brolo. Take the state road (SS 113) to Gioiosa Marea indicated by blue signs) in the direction of Messina (approx. 7 km). Follow the signs to the Borgo San Francesco.
From Catania: Take highway (A18 autostrada) in the direction of Messina, then A20 in the direction of Palermo (green signs indicate highways). Exit the highway at Patti, take the State Road (SS 113) towards Gioiosa Marea. Follow the signs for the Borgo San Francesco.


By train
