Great value room, nice staff, decent breakfast included, convenient city centre location - therefore noisy and unimpressive surroundings.We would return, but pay extra for a room at the back.

El hotel que yo reservé era el Greco y sin previo aviso me alojaron en el Windsor tan pronto llegué (en una habitación con camas separadas), porque el otro estaba completo. No respetaron la reserva por internet, habían dado mi habitación a otras personas. El desayuno es de los peores que he tomado nunca en hotel alguno. En este hotel no admiten tarjetas de crédito, salvo que sean portuguesas, quise pagar con visa y no la admitieron, tuve que ir a un cajero a las 12 de la noche para pagar en metálico. Lo único bueno que le veo a este hotel es que está en pleno centro de funchal y la limpieza es bastante aceptable. El trato con el cliente es muy mejorable y sobre todo el desayuno deben cambiarlo por completo. Bastante calor en las habitaciones. Soy gallego y entiendo el portugués y aunque la mayoría de los empleados son portugueses se empeñan en hablar en inglés.
