The residence Cori Rigas is situated in Fira, the capital town of Santorini Island. The structure is beautifully located on the caldera's cliff, the broad craterlike basin of the volcano on which the town extends. Due to the charming position, the property enjoys exceptional views of the Aegean sea and offers a unique setting for pleasant and unforgettable stays.
The family-run residence features traditional accommodations, consisting of individually appointed lodgings complete with all modern comforts and facilities and furnished in the typical Santorini style. The perfect choice for peaceful and relaxing holidays, it offers insights of unusual and characteristic aspects of the island, like the donkeys passing by every now and then along the narrow and winding alleys.

The residence offers two types of accommodations: suites and studios.
The extremely spacious suites accommodate up to 4 persons and consist of an open space/living room and either one or two double bedrooms. The studios sleep up to 2 persons and comprise a double bedroom and an open space hall.
All of the lodgings have a private bathroom, with either shower or bathtub, hairdryer, individually controlled air-conditioning, heating, direct dial telephone, satellite TV, radio, mini safe and a fully equipped cooking corner. Baby cots, iron and ironing board are available upon request and free of charge.
Each accommodation is individually appointed with original handcrafted furnishings and is decorated with the owner's pieces of art, including paintings and sculptures. The private marble terraces and balconies are equipped with outdoor table & chairs and offer extraordinary views of the sea and of surrounding area.

Cori Rigas made for an excellent stay in Santorini. The view cannot be beat, it has a very homey feel, and they even serve you breakfast on your own private patio. There are a number of excellent restaurants nearby (Selene stands out) and it's a short walk to the bus station or the rest of Fira. I could not be happier with my choice to stay at Cori Rigas.

The room is really nicelly equipped, the view is fabulous. But quality/price ratio is poor for 200 EUR/night during August. Nevertheless, I keep a good memory of my stay.

The Cori Rigas is beautiful, over a cliff, which we loved. The staff was terrific. We really enjoyed our stay. On the flipside, the price is fairly expensive. Seemed to us that other quite similar properties may have more reasonable rates...

Cori Rigas is located in a beautiful spot on the caldera, just steps from the city center in Fira but far enough away from the noise. The host and his staff were very gracious and helpful. Our transportation to and from the airport was arranged by our host, which was particularly helpful since the hotel was quite a hike up and down from the pedestrian road necessary to use to get to the hotel. Breakfast, which was included in the room rate, was delicious and prepared to your order. Our room was actually two connected rooms, a bedroom and a large living room with a kitchen and bathroom off of it. We had our own private little balcony as well. Just perfect!

For ones who appreciate the beauty of Santorini, Cori Rigas is sited at the very edge of the cliff, and the rooms offer a breathtaking caldera view from the terraces. Refurbished by the owners themselves after the earthquake, each room has a distinct character because of the original "cavy" structure. The rooms are "Cycladec white" and very clean, with antique furnitures. The hosts were very kind to help with any requests and served delicious breakfast, all freshly made by the hosts. Having a breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice or a glass of wine at sunset in the terraces was just superb and unforgettable. A five-minute down step walk to the hotel through narrow and winding streets of Thira, was rewarding. One of those memorable places you stay in your life.
How to reach Serviced Apartment Cori Rigas
By airplane
The flying time from Athens international airport to Santorini is approximately 40 minutes. Santorini national airport is located near Monolithos beach, about 8 km south east of Fira. The transfer time between Fira and the airport is about twenty minutes by public bus. Taxi service is available for connections to any part of the island.
By boat
To reach the island of Santorini there are daily ferry boat services connecting the Athens port of Piraeus to the harbour of Fira. The boat trip takes about 7 hours.
