The place feels (or essentially) is a cross between a hotel and an office building. Staff are only around for a few hours each day, but seemed friendly and competent. Cleanliness of the room left much to be desired, with the shower drain full of previous guests' hair, and a very smelly fridge and generally rather unhygienic and thus unusable kitchenette. The area (Lichterfelde) is lovely though and well-connected to town.

In the central parts of Berlin, easy to get around and helpful notes about what to do and howe to get there where provided. A bit of a trubbel to get hold of anyone to contakt about checking in when we arrived. The telefonnumber was not the right one and it took quite some time to get hold of anyone at all.

We arrived at six in the evening. A note on the frontdoor told us to call a number when we arrived. I have never in my life talk to a more rude person in my life than the lady in the phone. When we ordered on the net it said on the confermation/order that the appartment was 2-rooms. It wasn´t but still we had to pay the price for two rooms because we were two people.... didn´t say so anywhere else. It is not located near the center of Brlin. We could manage it because we were by car. But still it is cheap. oh and ps - you sleep on a fold out bed that are not very comfortable!!

How to reach Aparthotel Residenz 2000
By car
From the highway A115 (Kreuz Zehlendorf) proceed in direction of Zehlendorf, passing Potsdamer Chaussee until you reach Unter den Eichen.
By train
From Friedriechstraße train station take the city train (S-Bahn) S1 and get off at Lichterfelde West. Take the exit Knesebeckstraße; on Drakestraße turn left and after a few metres turn left again onto Unter den Eichen.
By airplane
From Tegel airport take bus line X9 or 109 and get off at Zoologischer Garten. From there proceed by underground line U9 until reaching Rathaus Steglitz. Change to the city train S1 in direction of Potsdam Hbf and get off at the Lichterfelde West stop. From there follow the above mentioned indications.
From Schönefeld airport take the city train S45 in direction of Gesundbrunnen and get off at the Schöneberg stop. Change to the city train S1 and follow the above mentioned indications.

CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT
Check-in: the apartments are available Monday through Friday between 8.30 a.m. and 5.30 p.m. Guests are kindly asked to contact the Aparthotel for later arrivals or arrivals on weekends.
Check-out: it is necessary to leave the apartments not later than 11 a.m.

Use of private garage is not included in the price and costs €10,00 per day.

CANCELLATION POLICY
