The Splendom Suites was a pleasant surprise after the dump we stayed at in Madrid. An employee waited up for us to arrive, it was close to midnight, and showed us around the apartment. The apartment was nicely laid out, spacious and well-kept. The terrace adjoining the master bedroom was a beautiful bonus. The kitchenette was well equipped and the bathroom clean. There were 2 annoying points about this place -though both to do with the location - it did not feel safe and it was not a comfortable walking distance to any happening place. Even the restaurants and grocery stores were few and far between. Also, when we left (it was 6 am) there was nobody at the front desk to help us and we had to go out and hunt for a taxi with the luggage and kids. However, the apartment proved to be very convenient since we had young children. Not only did they like the space, the kitchenette came in handy on several occasions! We would not mind going back to the same place or other places run by the same management in other cities!

I would definitely recommend Splendom Suites, particularly for larger groups or families. The apartment was perfect, the location excellent, and the staff very accommodating and helpful. Exactly as advertised. We would stay there again if we return to Barcelona.

Just two remarks : the sofa is not really comfortable for sleeping (and we need it as bed for one of our 3 children) and there was a bad smell from bathroom. Except these 2 points it was a perfect address

How to reach Splendom Suites

By airplane
From the Barcelona - El Prat International Airport, take the suburban line C10 heading to the Passeig de Gracia train station. From there, take the underground line 2 Pep Ventura / Paral·lel and get off at the first stop, Universitat. The apartments are located at 10 minutes on foot from the station.

METHODS OF PAYMENT
Venere.com does not debit your credit card for your reservations. You will be asked to insert your credit card details which will be sent to the property only as a guarantee of the reservation. The bill will then have to be settled directly at the hotel. In case your chosen hotel needs a deposit, this information will be included in the "Cancellation policy" section and the deposit will have to be settled directly with the pre-selected property.
