Be carefull when booking a studio room. The web site does not state this so I only found out when I arrived. The Studio contains a sofa bed and not a proper bed. This tended to spoil my trip a little because I had a week of bad sleep. They had no spare rooms so were unable to transfer me to a new room with a proper bed. Something else I didnt work out until the second night is that the windows have shutters. My room faced the casino and was very bright even in the middle of the night. On my 2nd night I discovered a pole at each side of the windows that raises or lowers shutters to solve this problem. They dont tell you about this, you seem to be expected to already know it. Apart from the bed issue I was very happy with the hotel.

Very close to the promenade and the beach. The appartment we had on the 1st Floor faced the casino and the walkway to the promenade and was very noisy. Shutters were closed each night to block the noise and the lights. Also, be wary of the 6pm peak hour of Arcachon when the street is grid-locked, but is gone by 6:45pm.
