The staff was very accommodating of our late arrival. We enjoyed having full kitchenette facilities, particularly considering the lack of adequate breakfast dining options in the area. Near the train tracks, which was a little noisy, but not too bad. On the upside, is convenient to the train and an easy walk to the beach even into the old town Antibes. A good value for the area.

We where searching for an apartament, for save some money cooking ourselves, in Antibes for our holydays. Then we find this hotel offering several "Studios". For the price and the 2 stars we didn't expect so much, but the room was good and clean.I think it's a good choice.

Hotel very simple but very confortable. The owners are very competence and available in case of matters. The hotel is very cleaned. Pheraphs the price is a little high.

This hotel is not quite the hidden gem previous guests posted on this website.And yes it is hidden, and difficult to find. Arrival greeting was prompt and friendly. Our room was clean.The kitchenette stove and sink were not clean. The surrounding environment was quiet. The kitchenette lacked basics -no coffee maker,no cleaning supplies i.e dishwashing liquid, sponge/towel/paper towels. Why pay for a kitchenette if the hotel does not provide the basics? A "cleaning kit " is available for 6 euros. Be advised that there's an exhorbitant charge ( 45 euros)to clean your room after you leave. Since when do guests pay for rooms plus cleaning afterwards? But you can clean it yourself and upon satisfactory inspection from the owner - be released from having to pay this cost, so bring a little dishwashing liquid/paper towels and toilet tissue (a necessity for which they charge 0.50 euros)Also you are required to take your garbage from your room and empty it in the container across the road.Parking was free. Air conditioning was fine. Wireless Internet access was free but we were often disconnected if our message(s)were more than 3-4 lines, quite frustrating. We couldn't send pictures home. This hotel was our base for day trips to Nice,Monaco etc. Surprisingly 3 star hotels right on the Boulevard des Anglais in Nice had posted room rates in the same range as what we paid for the Hotel Astor(with kitchenette) in mid June with no need to clean our room/bathroom/toilet/kitchenette upon departure but without free parking. We found that for the price we paid in daily road tolls driving from and back to the hotel Astor in Juan-les Pins everyday we could have paid for parking in Nice and have accomodations at a substantially higher level. What struck us especially about Residence Astor is 1)the courteous owner 2)the lack of basics/necessities provided and 3)the expectation for guests to clean their room/bathroom/toilet etc.or pay 45 euros.This hotel is no bargain.

The spaciousness and the initial price were good but all the extra charges were unusual and somewhat misleading. There was a €45 cleaning fee which will most probably not be refunded despite statement that if room is clean it can be. There are extra charges for sheets €4-5, pillow case €2 and the ultimate was an exrra charge for toilet paper after the first 2 small rolls were finished after 3 days. Only 2 towels for 4 days with no towel or sheet changes unless extra payment is made. I would have rather paid a higher daily rate for a studio that was very nice rather than these extra charges. Beware!

Fantastic location between the beaches of Juan Les Pins and Antibes, excellent transport links on the doorstep.

We have wonderful holiday at Astor Residence in Juan-les-Pins. The room was clean and the staff was nice. It's close to railway station, that's why it's a little noisy, but it wasn't problem for us. It's not far from beach (about 15 minutes) and supermarket (about 8 minutes). Astor Résidence gives a good opportunity to spent your holidays in such a pleasant place as Juan-les-Pins for a reasonable price.

beaches were not as close as we were led to believe. finding PUBLIC beach was difficult. difficulty in accommodating late arrival. nice to have a market nearby. excellent parking. front desk manager helpful when needed. room was very nice and had a cool breeze. kitchen fully functional. bathroom large and accommodating. plenty of closet space.

Very nice place to stay, charming owners. We had the 4-pers-apartment, which was spacious enough for four adult girlfriends. Absolut correct relationship between price/quality for French Riviera!!!!!

The Astor residence was a really good deal for the money. It seems that a lot of people want to stay in Nice or Antibes and if these destinations are a must (personally I would stay somewhere else along the coast) then I would recommend to stay here. The owner was laid-back and answered all our questions. We had 2 rooms: one was great but the other one had a funny smell. Still the prices cannot be beat (especially when considering how expensive the area is). The place is just off a main road but actually not too loud.

I was positively surprized by this hotel. A pleasure to get to know the owner and my future neighbour. The room was clean, quiet and very spaceous. We moved to another place that my company had booked for us after staying at Astor, and it was like a shock to us. Even thought the other place was a 3 star hotel, it wasn't half as good as Astor residence. the only problem was the stove that wasn't working that good. But other than that, it was perfect.
