I would highly recommend Sant' Antonio. The staff could n't have been more helpful. It's a great location.

Sant'Antonio has excellent price/quality relationship. The breakfast has been critisized in other reviews, but we thought that it was a typical italian breakfast, served in a beautiful breakfast room, with fresh rolls, youghurt, cereal and good coffee. The breakfast is quite adequate, if you don't expect to find ham and cheese and don't plan to be able to skip lunch. Our children, too, were happy with the breakfast.

Hotel is rather nice and in a very good location inside the trulli area. However service was extremely poor, we did not even succeed to get a breakfast the first day of our stay.

The hotel staff were wonderful, very helpful. We had trouble finding the hotel and had to ask 2 people on the street for directions (one couldn't describe it so she told us to follow her and she would take us there). The accommodations were spacious if not spartan, the room was on the street yet very quiet with a nice view of the neighborhood. Breakfast was far below our expectations but again, the staff made up for any shortcomings. The location is perfect for seeing the Trulli, right in the heart of the historical section and an easy walk to the basilica.

La struttura è situata nella zona storica dei trulli, c'è un parcheggio vicino e un supermarket. Le stanze sono semplici e pulite. Il soggiorno è stato molto gradevole.

Nice hotel, rooms are big clean, more fonctional than nice, a warmness atmosphere is missing, but overall it's calm, clean, there is not air con, but it's not really needed. It's very well located for visiting Alborebello

We think the breakfast was typical for the region, but felt it was rather sparse. The hotel, staff, facilities and surroundings were excellent. Very good choice of local restaurants to eat out locally. Public transport, except for local railway (about a mile away) is non existent and we ended up at great expense, hiring a car to get back to the airport.

We were very pleased with the hotel. I asked for help getting a mini bus for our group and they arranged for one to meet us at Bari Central Terminal and took us to Alberobello. We were right in the center of town within easy walking distance to the trullis. Quiet and very clean.

The hotel was excelllent and in the ideal location to visit the town by foot. The only difficulty was finding the road tyhe hotel was located on-a better map or directions would be helpful. rooms are spotlessly clean

Highly recommended hotel. Apparently this used to be the quarters for the clergy of Sant'Antonio Parish. The rooms are large and clean, the breakfast is generous (by European standards - yogurt was offered with the traditional coffee/croissant), the staff is very accommodating. By far, the best feature of this hotel is its location - situated just at the top of the hill of the historical trulli village. Parking is available on a side street.

Excellent stay the hotel is a lovely use of the old building, the room was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful - recommending one of the best places to eat that we found on our entire holiday. A full map of Alberobello would be useful for anyone arriving by public transport independently as there are no taxis or buses in the town. The hotel is ideally placed to explore the Trulli Houses of the town and is only five minutes from the centre.

Non lasciatevi impressionare negativamente dalla reception, che si presenta un po' spartana. Le camere sono semplici ma spaziose e pulite e il cortile interno molto grazioso. Ottima posizione per raggiungere a piedi il centro.

If you are looking for a lavish hotel, this is not it. It is clean and simple. I didn't know we were staying in the main trulli church attraction. That was a treat. Our window on the second floor looked over the street where everyone came to see the church. It is in the main area of town so you don't have to hike to get to where you want to go. The site gave no map or directons to find the hotel so finding it was a little tricky. The entrance doesn't stand out unless you know you are looking for the trulli church. We had our two teenage children with us, 17 and 14, and they wanted to stay another night. The town is adorable and a definite stop if you are in the area. The hotel was perfect and I would definitely recommend this hotel to all.

We liked the hotel and would stay again. Breakfast was OK but coffee could be better. We do not recall seeing a map showing property location and there were few signs in Alberabello so we had to check with a number of local people in order to find it, so better signposting or a better map on the website are needed. Location on the edge of the trulli area was perfect.

alberobello is a quaint town and we were travelling by train. there were no taxis in this town but a simple phone call to the hotel and we were picked up by the manager himself and likewise dropped off on our departure. fabulous hotel, used to be the convent and is in the middle of the trulli section. little english spoken but didn't matter. sunday night the promenade down the main plaza and street leading up to the cathedral was just amazing. all locals as the tourists seem to bus in just for the days sightseeing this amazing world heritage listed area.

We really enjoyed our stay in this very nicely renovated old Monastery. The staff was very nice and helpful and the location is excellent, being close to shops and restaurants. The rooms are spacious and very clean, though sparsely decorated. It certainly was well worth the price we paid and we would stay here again. I highly recommend Sant'Antonio for a very pleasant stay in Alberobello. We loved this charming little town. We had one of our best Italian meals at a restaurant near the hotel. The restaurant, La Locanda del Gallo, is housed in a 4000-year-old Trulli house and the whole experience was incredible. Be prepared for lots of tourists in town during the day. Dozens of tour busses drop people off from morning to early evening. Many people still live in the Trulli houses in town. The shop owners cater to the tourists, but a lot of the people seem weary of the tourists in their town taking pictures of their houses.

The hotel has been beautifully renovated-lovely spacious room overlooking landscaped courtyard. Excellent value. Travelling alone, the only real omission was a hotel bar, even if it just served cappuccinos. Very attractive town-trulli houses in abundance just down the road, restaurants and shops nearby. Access to Bari and spectacular caves at Castellana from station. Unusual area with pretty countryside - trulli farmhouses, vines, olives, almonds growing. Market day on Thursday.

This place is a converted monestary. Excellent location in the heart of the historical section. Only complaint is that the price is a bit high for services and room. I would stay again and recommend to others, but better value can be found elsewhere in town.

Well up to 3* standard and in a good position for visiting Alberobello and the local areas. Slight criticism of the photo - although the hotel adjoins the church, the modest entrance is round the corner. In their position , though I would probably do the same.

Found the hotel with very little trouble, and room, price, and location all what was advertised. We arrived on a Sunday and left on Monday morning, so did not experience the bells. Very quiet, clean and extremely convenient. Hotel staff recommended good restaurants and were very helpful. Parking about half a block away, and car was quite safe. We'd stay here again, and recommend it to friends.

We would never have found it without the help of our mobile phone and another guest who was checking in. It took about 45mins to locate. The hotel is more like a monastary than an hotel and the rooms a bit too cell like although beautifully renovated... including mosquito nets. Breakfast was a bit frugel as well. An experience which we are pleased to have had overall and the recommended nearby restaurant was very good. The village was seriously over touristed! But, calmed down at night and it was all very interesting. One night was enough.

I was pleasantly surpised with this hotel. The hotel and room was very clean. The decor was plain and simple, but it had the things you needed including a TV. Everyone who worked there was very pleasant and helpful. The continental breakfast is what is expected. The bathroom only had a shower, but very roomy and in a very nice modern fixtures. The location is near the sites and old town area for shopping and visiting the Trulli's. I would recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a clean value property and do not need amenties.

Wonderful location at the top of the Trulli area, behind the Trulli church and within easy walking distance (10-15 minutes)from centre of Alborobello. Spotlessly clean, spacious room, with large, well fitted bathroom. Nearby free parking facility for car. Extremely good value. Two disappoinments - air conditioning in room did not work and some staff rather "unfriendly". Suggestion - the beautiful "Cloister" area in courtyard could provide a wonderful area for hotel guests to sit and relax if outdoor furniture provided - there are no other sitting areas other than bedrooms and it seems a shame not to utilise such a peaceful, outdoor area. Would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Alborobello on strength of location, cleanliness and value for money.

This was a lovely hotel and the staff was very nice. I think they could go up on the rooms if they had air conditioning (but it was not uncomfortably hot when we went) and swimming pool. They needed chairs in the courtyard for people to sit and relax. I would stay there again. Thanks.

The hotel and most of the staff was wonderful. The location was incredible. The rooms were clean, spacious, but cold. However, my chief complaint was the buffet breakfast. The staff served us one good brioche, but the rest of the bread/offerings on the buffet were either hard as a rock, old, or completely inadequate. The hotel should forgo that service and my rating would go up considerably.

This hotel is ideally located for a stay in Alborobello due to its close proximity to the Trulli area of town. The rooms were in excellent condition and perfectly clean though somewhat clinical in ambience. The main photograph on the web site gives a rather favourable view of the character of the building since it is of the attached church. The hotel is actually located in the more standard building behind. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and could speak rudimentary English. Breakfast was of a typical continental type and was managed in a buffet style. The food was perfectly adequate, though choice was not extensive. I would recommend this hotel for a short stop-off to visit the Trulli area and Alborobello as whole. A walk of a few yards takes you into the heart of the trulli; an experience which more than justifies the stay.
