Very good to go to Avignone and sorroundig sites (Arles, Camargue, ecc), because it is 5' from entrance of motorway. At 1 km there is a big commercial centre with a gasoline pump at cheap prices. Not good if one wants to visit the town without using its car. Professional staff, but not beyond that. In our apartment tehere was no broom and the handle of dishwasher was broken (and the dishwasher itself smalls bad, because it had been closed after last wash). On the whole, the price was right.

La quota all'arrivo aveva un piccolo sovrapprezzo (non giustificato) e ho dovuto pagare in anticipo, quando nella maggior parte si fa alla fine del soggiorno. Camere pulite e spaziose anche se il WC era separato dal resto del bagno (dovevamo passare dalla stanza da letto!). Alla reception parlano solo francese. Con il navigatore abbiamo trovato subito l'HOTEL e potevamo parcheggiare in un parcheggio sotterraneo riservato. La vista da su altri edifici ad uso ufficio ma in compenso la zona offre un centro commerciale a 2 minuti di auto e 5 minuti dal centro di Aix en Provence. Lo consiglio a chi vuole risparmiare, è stato il residence con il prezzo più basso che ho trovato e il rapporto qualità/prezzo è buono.

Not sure how to rate this one. The kitchen facilities were excellent. Sofabed was very uncomfortable with lumpy very small pillows of different sizes. Because i have never drove around france it took sometime to find it. If one returns late at night roadside parking is difficult - rent small cars. Easy access to the town centre by bus but last bus from town is at 10 pm. Walking is a little too far.

After the initial difficulty of finding the apartments (we nearly gave up), we were most pleasantly surprised by the quality of the studio and the staff. Both were first class and even the parking was easy and free. If only they would put a large sign indicating where the apartments are on the main road I guarantee completely satisfied customers.

The hotel is located a bit outside the city centre (ca. 20 mins walk), but very good value for money! Kitchenette and a close by supermarket help you to save a lot (!!) of money (as compared to staying in a hotel and eating out).

Gli appartamenti sono molto freschi e silenziosi inoltre sono dotati di lavastoviglie e frigorifero (ottimo per la conservazione di cioccolate e bibite fresche)ed ilocali sono sufficientemente spaziosi.Va bene per chi deve arrivarci in auto, perche' vicino agli svincoli autostradali, per raggiungere il centro , a piedi, servono circa 20 minuti di cammino. Attenzione non c'e' corrispondenza tra il nome del residence riportato sul sito internet (Jardin de Galice) e quello reale che e' ApartValley. Se volete dormire sonni tranquilli e freschi e' il posto ideale

If you are on a budget and want s/c this is ideal as Aix is expensive, we found this apartment to be comfortable and extremely cool(air conditioning!) The receptionists are very helpful too. However, be warned!! This accomodation is near impossible to find as it is off a major road out of Aix and if you are on foot as we were it is a 20 min walk out of the centre. The address on the website is not detailed enough it should add,Appart valley accomodation and it can be found behind the Kyriad Hotel off the Route de Galice.

By train
From the Aix-en-Provence TGV train station, take road D9 direction Aix-Les Milles for 10 km, then take access road to A51 (E721) direction Aix-Jas de Bouffan-Sisteron. Take third exit, Aix Ouest-Jas de Bouffan by staying on the left side. Turn left into D53 (route de Galice) and after the highway entry, turn right into the blind alley. The residence is 50 metres away.
From the Aix-en-Provence SNCF train station, turn left right out of the station, into rue Gustave Desplaces. Then, after 300 metres, turn right into rue Lapierre, keep on it for 100 metres, then turn left into avenue des Belges. At the roundabout of la Rotonde (big fountain), take 4th exit into boulevard de la République. On the next roundabout, take 3rd exit direction d'Encagnane, then route de Galice (900 m.) After the two highway entries, turn right into the blind alley. The residence is 50 metres away.

By airplane
From the Marseille-Marignane airport, take D20 direction Marseille/Vitrolles/Aix-en-Provence for 2 km, then D9 direction Vitrolles-La Frescoule-Aix-Les Milles for 20 km. Then, 1 km after the commercial center Les Milles-La Piolline, take access road to A51 (E721) direction Aix-Jas de Bouffan-Sisteron. Take third exit, Aix Ouest-Jas de Bouffan by staying on the left side. Turn left into D53 (route de Galice) and after the highway entry, turn right into the blind alley. The residence is 50 metres away.
