877-662-6988Its incredible location, in one of the most traditional areas of the city, the judería mayor (Jewish quarter), and the proximity to the major sights, such as the home of El Greco and the Cathedral, make of it a good option to start discovering Castilla La Mancha, a region full of culture and tradition.

Check in was flawless and friendly. Once in my room I noticed straight away that the lavatory looked like it had been used!! it flushed yellow water until I flushed it 20 times! - not pleasant. The light inside the door is operated by the wardrobe doors!! I had no way of knowing that, and tried numerous combinations with the switches to try and get it off. I ended up having to sleep or try to with the light on all night. It was only when I was leaving, and checked the wardrobe, that once the doors were properly shut, and not slightly ajar that the light went off. So I didn't manage to get a lot of sleep. It was also suprisingly noisy outside my room for a quiet area. The hotel is well located, and only a short walk to the Cathedral, and other local churches, sites worth a visit. I was surprised there was no bar, which would have been a welcome addition to a weary traveller. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay there again, but ask for a room near the back. I paid less for a 5* hotel in Salamanca, but didn't consider it over priced. Clean and tidy - only the toilet water incident and the light switch made me mark the hotel down. Every else was fine.

We loved Toledo and after we found the hotel (%$#@?)we loved it, too. It was REALLY hard to find and Toledo is very difficult to drive through.

The staff were friendly as well as professional, and we will certainly return. We have stayed here on several occasions, and have always had a comfortable and enjoyable time. The process of refurbishment has produced some beautiful superior rooms, with beams, stone and excellent bathrooms. Breakfast was good, but it would have been better had there been a bit more choice of hot food for vegetarians. There is secure underground parking (for a fee) which is good when you're travelling with a full car. The hotel is within easy walking distance to the old centre and many attractions.

The room was stuffy and airless and the aircon woefully inadequate. The free WiFi was pointless as it does not work with apple mac's or most smartphones (only systems using microsoft internet explorer apparantly). The satalitte TV had no international channels. With the exception of the breakfast team, the staff were indifferent. The location is about the only thing going for it. Over-rated and over-priced. You can do a lot better in Toledo!

The pillows were not comfortable and caused my husband neck pain. When we sat up in bed to read or watch TV, the beds kept moving away from the wall.

Another great hotel to stay in. Located we feel on the better side of Old Toledo. Plenty of great places to have breakfast (not provided in our deal) & dinner. LaPerdiz just around the corner on Reyes Catolicos 7 excellent place for dinner & price is good. Just remember Sunday nights not a lot opened. A very quiet Toledo. Usually Monday's a lot of visiting places closed. Not so in Toledo. We found plenty opened and lots to see. Also probably the cheapest in all of Spain when paying to visit sites. Have your walking shoes on. Toledo on top of hill so a lot of up and down. Worth spending 3 nights here. One of our favourite places in Spain to spend time before going home. My husband and I thought this was one of the best hotels we stayed in on our holiday in Europe. The facilities were outstanding; the rooms were airy, well lit and comfortably furnished. The staff were helpful and highly professional. The hotel had stunning views across Toledo and was close to many sites.

I am travelled with my wife by car, we made a roundtrip in southern part of Spain. The location of this old style hotel is excellent. Only few minutes walking to the ancient synagogas, El Greco house (under renovation) St. Thomas church, Monastery and the Cathedral, and good (free too) and safe parking, good restaurants and shops around, quiet during the night. Rooms are clean, large (also the bathroom) comfortable. Breakfast extra buffet rich selection , and the price (10 euro/head) very attractive compare to breakfast places nerby. Hotel staff helpful, speaking fluently english. If we return to Toledo, we stay again in this hotel. Hotel Pintor El Greco excellent stay for business people and for tourist.

The twin room had an extra bed, which was very convenient for using for our luggage. I was travelling with my 14 year old daughter who liked to spread out her belongings. The hotel was beautiful and the location perfect for walking around the area. The breakfast was excellent and the staff very helpful at recommending a restaurant for dinner. I enjoyed the stay.

This hotel had good beds, adequate AC, and our room was very clean. However, during our 3 night stay, every night was noisy, and it was hard to sleep. We could hear neighbors talking/TV through the walls, noises that sounded like someone dragging furniture across the floor, and an all night party with people coming and going from an adjacent room/doors slamming/loud laughter. In addition, the front desk staff was not especially friendly or helpful. We were given totally wrong information about bus service to the train station. We were okay with the location for sightseeing, but there was no breakfast included, nor good food close to the hotel. Negatives outweighed positives-we would definitely stay elsewhere in Toledo next time.

A smooth, professionally run hotel. Comfortable, well-sized room, though perhaps just a little bit "faux" compared to the common areas and exterior. The hotel is near a major road into town and also near a parking garage, but it was still satisfyingly quiet. A fine value.

After all this was one of the best hotels I ever had in price/quality. Very charming, great athmosphere and within the historical center of Toledo. It is a very old building but renovated with lots of nice details. Very quiet. Only two things I would change: 1. Internet is available by Telefonica-Hotspot only, I do not have an access so I could not use it. Free WLAN providing would be nice. 2. The windows could not be completely opened and there were no smoking areas within the building so we had to go outside for having a cigarette. Have fun when you stay there. Enjoy a great city in a very charming hotel!

I was astonished to notice that the breakfast was not included in the price I paid. Furthermore, I consider very bad the internet offer, as I was supposed to pay 6 euros per hour of connection! This is simply crazy, we are in 2008!

An absolutely charming hotel. The location was superb. The balcony was a nice added touch. Having the air conditioning working would have been helpful, but otherwise a first rate choice of hotel. The staff were very obliging and helpful.

This hotel is well located in the Jewish quarter with clean spacious rooms. There is an underground parking garage if you have a car. Currently there is construction going on in the area so there will be noise in the rooms if you stick around during the day, but that probably would not be an issue for most. An excellent breakfast is available at a good price. The one negative point is that there is no air conditioning during the non summer months and this has been a hot year. Luckily, the room did cool off sufficiently in the evening.

We loved this hotel. The rooms were nice, well kept, and quite spacious in comparison to other places we stayed in different parts of Spain. The staff was great and provided us with good maps of the town as well as good suggestions for activities. Everything we wanted to do or see was within a fifteen-minute walk. Quality/price ratio was fair. We would highly recommend it.

A lovely character hotel in an excellent position inside the old Toledo City walls. Unfortunately the plumbing is very noisy and rather disturbing at night. Also the room was very hot (in mid-November) and we could not get the aircon to cool - only to heat! Hotel facilities are limited, but this is no problem as there are many restaurants in walking distance and all the sights are reachable on foot.

Hotel Pintor El Greco is in a really nice part of the old City, with all the main sights only 2-15mins max walk away. With a small park opposite and the gorge it gave some breathing space and respite. Much less cramped than up by the main square. Great place to stay, staff excellent. NB the hotel has private underground parking for E6 per night (you can park on the street for free Sat/Sun). Only downside at all was if a room nearby flushed the loo you all knew about it! That being said I would stay there again
