We had a cozy hotel room that efficiently made use of the space. staff was very helpful. Onsite parking was fine, just a little tight on the entrance. Wifi worked well. Location is a 10 minute walk up the hill to where sights are.

The hotel was easy to find by car and spotless, however, it would have been great if hotel staff had let us know what was happening in the town during our stay. We found by talking to locals that Corpus Chrisi was being celebrated as the town was hanging up banners, flower baskets and holding free concerts.

The double rooms at the hotel sercotel casona de la reyna were very good and the location is first class. We stayed for 2 nights and the rooms were cleaned each day. The only thing lacking at the hotel is a restuarant. It would have been nice to eat at the hotel rather than have to go into the town each night.

We were a party of six staying in three rooms for one night in July 2010. One room was larger than the other two, with a view, but all of the rooms were more than adequate in size. All the rooms were nicely decorated, and quite inviting. Most importantly they were very clean. The staff was friendly and very helpful during our stay. The breakfast was abundant and delicious. The location for us was lovely, right across from the Tajo River. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed two nights here, over a weekend (Saturday and Sunday night). Finding the hotel without difficulty, I temporarily parked outside. As I was checking in, I heard a van starting up and moving out from the free parking bay opposite. A frantic race ensued, which I just about won, giving free parking for the extent of our stay. The hotel has been frequently, and fairly, rated. Rooms are reasonably sized, and the building is clean and modern, yet small enough to be personal and welcoming. It is on the riverside, so it is a steep (but short) climb to the city's main attractions. Breakfast was not included, but I understand it is sometimes offered as part of a promotion, so I suggest you check the hotel website before booking. Note there is free internet access at a computer that is easily missed between the staircase, the dining areas and the internal patio. The hotel staff were extremely helpful in dealing with our few requests during our short stay, and appeared competent, professional and efficient. There is a little noise from nearby building projects, but this was only apparent as we were leaving on the Monday. More intrusive was the sound of the local buses that terminate near the parking bay mentioned above. For some strange reason, drivers tend not to switch off their engines while parked; so for ten minutes every half hour there is a judder-judder-judder until the vehicle resumes its route.

The location of the hotel at the edge of town on the river would be ideal for anyone crazy enough to drive into Toledo! However, getting anywhere into the town requires an uphill walk of varying degrees of difficulty and distance. As a mature couple, we found the location problematic. For younger people, there would be no problem. The hotel itself is very nice. The staff were extremely helpful and taxi service is good if you ask the hotel or business to call for you.

We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. There wasn't really much of interest in the immediate area but it was only a couple of minutes walk (uphill!) to the city centre. The hotel staff were very friendly and efficient and the hotel room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. I would mention that the tv was in a very odd position on the wall and could have been more central so that both beds had a good view of the screen. Other than that our stay was great and we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

Main problem was lack of drawer space, there is plenty of room to put in a cabinet of drawers. Another comfortable chair would be nice too. But in general the place was clean, the staff was pleasant, and the location good. (I didn't pay any attention to the photographs)

Nice little hotel, but very noisy. Toledo is a labrynth of a city to drive in, so finding the hotel was quite a challenge because of all the one-way streets. Better to go by taxi. Rooms were nice, but floors are wooden throughout hotel, so noise in the hallways was ever-present.

An excellent small hotel with friendly and informative staff. Although a 15 minute walk to the central plaza the route takes in lots of interesting sights and streets. There is a regular bus service from right outside the hotel to the central plaza for about 1 euro 40 each. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel as a base to explore Toledo and the many historic sights therein.

The view from the bedroom window of the river and the cliffs opposite was enchanting. The walk up the steps (not the road) to the centre also had splendid views. All the staff were very welcoming and competent and I could not fault the breakfast.

Very cute hotel with lovely surroundings, but a little far from the centre of town and most sights. Still, the hotel has a gorgeous view of the Tajo and is close to the stop for the #12 bus which will take you to Zocodover. The breakfast is a very nice spread and reasonable at 7euro. Bathroom is spacious and clean. The only downside is the noisiness of the rooms -- the hotel is in a quiet area but the walls are so thin we could hear everything going on in the next room! Fortunately we were tired after a day's touring and shopping and fell asleep anyway. Enjoy it!

We found the hotel to be charming and in a perfect location. The fact that it had an immaculately clean underground garage to store our car was another plus. Everyone was lovely and extremely helpful. We loved our stay.

This was a delightful hotel and the staff were tremendous. Our room was large with a couple of steps down into ensuite/entrance area. Although a little distance from the main square, it was a pleasant walk and a bus left from outside the hotel on a frequent basis.

I was amazed when I arrived at the hotel to discover it was the one I had booked. In fact, I ducked into the lobby to ask directions--and the clerk told me this was our hotel--what a pleasant surprise. I was travelling with my adult daughter and we rated it the nicest (and best deal) of three country trip! The accomodations were luxurious, and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Although breakfast wasn't included in our rate--the price was very reasonable--and the breakfast was outstanding! I would stay in this hotel again in a flash! The only difficulty we experienced at all was locating the hotel--we were on foot--and could have benefited greatly with information on how to arrive from the train station--by bus. I suspect most of their guest have cars.... I would recommend anyone visiting Madrid--who has some extra time--the one night excursion to Toledo was wonderful. the train trip was a breeze...We didn't know what to expect in Toledo, but could have stayed 2 nights and still found plenty to do--what a fascinating medieval city!

Apart from having a very difficult time finding this hotel, our stay there was very pleasant. As American travelers who didn't speak much Spanish, we appreciated the fact that all three receptionists we dealt with spoke very good English and were very cordial and helpful. The rooms are not terribly spacious, but neither are they cramped. Our only real disappointment was that very little of the character of an old building -- this one was built in the 17th century -- was evident beneath the remodeled interior.
