Very good option for a stay in Malaga, just a block away from the beach, bus stop to the town center in front of the hotel. Beautiful neighbourhood.Nice towels with oranges.

Traffic noise impossible to avoid, and amplified by surroundings! Take your ear plugs! Very friendly and helpful staff, despite lack of spoken English.

Person at de reception desk spoke very little english, which I found surprising in such a hotel. A good 15 min walk to the city centre, but busstop just next to the hotel.

This is an older but lovely hotel away from the center of Malaga, but still walking distance to many things including the Roman ruins, Picasso Museum and certainly the beautiful beach. We had an excellent breakfast down the the street, as we left before the breakfast was served at the hotel. The view from our room was amazing and the staff was great. We were able to park on the street as well, but there is parking under the hotel.

Hotel Sercotel Los Naranjos is placed in a very good location:3 minutes from the beach,15 minutes walk from the city center, there are many restaurants nearby and in addition 10 minutes from the hotel is a big supermarket (Mercadona). From the Maria Zambrano train station it's about half an hour walk but you can always take a bus because the bus stop is placed just opposite the hotel or take a taxi which will cost you about few Euros. The staff in the hotel was very helpful, friendly and they speak English (what is not really common in Spain or particularly in Malaga). The room which I shared with my friend wasn't very spacious but big enough for two us.It was clean and had air conditioning. The only minus I can find is when someone was taking a shower in the room above you could hear it clearly and it was a little bit disturbing. We ate the breakfast in the hotel's restaurant once and we were disappointed, because the food wasn't that great and it was quite expensive so I would rather suggest you to go the other restaurants and there is plenty of them everywhere (hot paella and ice cold sangria is just the best :) ).To sum up I would certainly recommend Sercotel Los Naranjos to every one and if I will go to Malaga next time I will stay there again.

July 2009- The Hotel was excellent, don't think twice and don't look around, this is the right one! Great service in reception. Their breakfast was excellent and priced just right. Room service, well just don't use it, go out. The hotel is maintained very clean, close to the beach, just a quick drive to the centre of town. I will definitely stay here again and again. Booked a double and triple room, had plenty of room, great bathrooms and enjoyed the balcony every evening(Facing the front of the building). I would recommend this for anyone, single to a house full.

First time to Malaga. My wife and I wanted to tour Malaga for a couple of days before heading south. The hotel was everything we hoped it would be. Classic, clean, and conveniently located.Friendly and professional staff. Our two nights here were great.

The rooms were very hot during the night and they only enable the air-conditioning during summer. We had no choice but to open the balcony door overnight and the noise was very loud from the main road. It takes 10-15 mins to walk into the city.

Forget about all the negative comments - we had a fantastic time, staff professional and very helpful, great location - easy walk into centre, nice rooms. Walls are a bit thin, but its a city centre and we weren't going for a rest !!

This is the perfect example of a not so central Hotel. The staff was so friendly, the room had see view, the parking wasn't a problem because even if they didn't have a space inside there was one on the street right in front of the hotel, the night was quiet and the wireless was free. We got there late in the evening so we had a very nice dinner right across the street, a little to the left. We were traveling by car so we didn't have a problem getting into the centre but i know that there are all sorts of busses that can take you there.

It's a very nice hotel, on the root of a hill, and only the second row on the beach, just 5 mins walk from the beach, even though the beach is not as good as the ones in Thailand. But I had a very nice stay there, Malaga, a very nice small city.

Very good room! You can see the sea from your balcony. A little far from the center of Malaga on foot, but there are lots of city bus service.

Everything was really perfect until the last night, when we got neighbours. We had heard nothing from next door up to that time. We had problems to get to sleep (about 11 till12o'clock p.m.). We were hearing the people talking T.V. and also any of their activity in the bathroom. The isolation between the bathroom and our is very insufficient which appeared very annoying during the next morning, when thes people woke up much earlier than we did. My husband who was sleeping next to the separating wall had the feeling he was taking a shower with them! In spite of that, we loved the situation close to the beach and the balcony +little view on the sea,we appreciated the situation of our bedroom (5th floor, not on the roadside). Everybody was very kind to us and profesional. The breakfast (continental spanish) was very good.If we go back to Málaga we will certainly go back there hoping that the isolation between the rooms have been improved.

I would not stay in Los Naranjos for longer than the neccessity of an overnight stay. It was fine for a night and breakfast. The double room was smallish; the single room very small, though both had balconies. It was very difficult to find from Malaga airport and is situated in a quiet residential area. However, if you are lucky to be on the 5th floor and at the front, there are excellent sea views to be had and its not far from the main promenade.

I have stayed at the hotel before during a very difficult period and was so touched by the care and support the staff showed me during the loss of a relative who was in the hospital nearby. It is a small and tastefully furnished hotel. The rooms have balconies, they offer a nice breakfast and have very helpful staff. It is well situated, out of the bustle of the tourist area, but easy walk and bus into the historic part of Malaga.Surrounded by good restaurants, bars and shops and the beach is a block away.

We booked all of our hotels through venere.com and were very pleased to find what we expected was what we got. We booked this hotel while in Spain (hadn't planned on going to Malaga) with no problems. It's only a short walk to the beach. Breakfast was included in the price of our room, (which I didn't remember) and they didn't tell us that when we checked in so the first morning we at elsewhere. That's the only complaint I have. We had a room overlooking the street and it was a little noisy but we were fine.
