Hotel Sercotel Abbot Barcelona - Barcelona

Overall we Had a pleasent stay although the room was very small. we had a second bed in the room which made it quite cramped.

Very nice and clean. Close to facilities and just 3 minute-walking from Saint Estaciò.

It's not so bad as people sad before. We have spent a week there. The breakfast was enough, the room was clean, but there were 2 days with little child crying...

The hotel was nice, but a little far from the centre. We always have to use subway.

services provided were good, only a weak wireless connection was the problem!

The internet service need to improve. It is necessary that the hotel has information about events in the city as "corrida de toros", peliculas, teatros etc or to provide the place you can knowing about these events.

The rooms the hotel gave me were differents than the two rooms I booked.

Very nice hotel. The rooms are very clean and well maintained. Service OK. Very close to the Sants metro and central station. About 45 min walk from the center. The hotel surroundings OK. I recommend it.

Very nice hotel - close to Barcelona-Sants station for convenient Metro and Airport transportation access. A bit of a walk to anything else. Nice, friendly staff with very good English; very nice rooms. Overall a very good experience and price value.

It's a good hotel, the bathroom it's really ok and clean. It's far from the very centre of the city but the Estació de Sants its near (only 5 min walking). And.... well, there aren't many restaurants near the hotel. But in general I liked it and I recomend it!

Well, the rooms were nice and clean, and although the hotel is on a busy street, the rooms on the street have good windows, which keep the traffic noise out. Theres a internet coffee just around the corner, and several supermarkets, which is great. However, the air conditioner didn't work in the first room we had, which was also very small. The second room we had was nice, and the air conditioner worked. But beware of the service here! First, we didn't get a double, but a twin, although we booked a double. Then, when we checked in, the mini-bar was not complete, in both of the rooms we stayed in. We didn't think anything about it, but we should have: when we checked out, they wanted to charge us for several items which previous guests had taken from the mini-bar. Also, while we had parked our car in a public parking space, they wanted to charge us for using their parking place. I protested, and after lengthy discussions, the bill was corrected. But the receptionist told me in the face she didn't believe me (so i was a liar!), and she didn't want to talk to me anymore! So, nice hotel, but very bad service. Just make sure the minibar is full when you check in, and call ahead to make sure you really get a double!

Very good hotel, centrally located; very friendly and competent staff. Price does not include breakfast, should be made clear; execellent breakfast. Entrance are being rebuilt yet no problems with noise.

Hotel bon voir tres bon standing accueil chaleureux loin d etre impersonnel et qualifié petit déjeuner de qualité propreté de la chambre et de la salle de bain : impeccable pres de la gare centrale la qualité de la télévision (taille écran-réception chaine )soit de mauvaise qualité un effort est a faire pour la qualité de la climatisation l aeration des chambre et l insonorisation mais je recommande vivement cet hotel.

Estuvo bien, es un buen hotel y un buen servicio. No habia internet por reformas. El unico problema que tuve es que me falto una camiseta blanca de la habitacion, y la gente del hotel se responsabilizo por ello pero no se hicieron cargo, es decir, no lo repararon de ninguna manera. Sigo esperando.

Beautiful rooms, very nice staff, overall a wonderful stay! Only concern is breakfast which is €9 - a little expensive!

The elevator was really small, parking was a fee. They should mention that it is close to the metro.

Small room - typical of a European hotel. Within close walking distance from the train station, even with luggage. Handy to subway, and although not in the center of the Barcelona action it's easy enough to get there by subway or walking.

Excellent in everything. The Concierges have been very kind to us, especially the person who welcomed us. She gave us advise about how to better enjoy Barcellona.

MOLTO CONSIGLIATO

Das Hotel entspricht voll und ganz der Beschreibung. Obwohl wir ein Zimmer zur Hauptstrasse hatten war das Zimmer bei geschlossenem Fenster sehr ruhig. Die Verkehrsanbindung ist ok. Wenn man zu Fuss ins gotische Viertel möchte sollte man allerdings etwa 30 min einkalkulieren.

Cheerful and welcoming receptionists. Good area for access to metro. Quiet area with good supermarket nearby. Nicely laid out dining room with pleasant staff. All very clean.

I really had a nice stay at Abbot! Thanks to the hotel i was able to enjoy Barcelona a lot!

abbot is a great hotel, very nice and friendly people working there.every day room-cleaning-->great!rooms are absolutely spacious for 2 people, very clean, the rooms facing the street are a bit loud if the window is open, but at night almost no cars are driving!The breakfast is very good and plenty for 7€!just 2 minutes walking distance to the metro (Sants); about 20 minutes to walk downtown!all in all price/ quality relationship is more than excellent!I can really recommand this hotel (I´m travelling a lot to Cities like Roma, Paris, Chicago...but that was the best in this pricecategory!!!)I would come again!

The hotel is just a bit far away from the center but the subway is a very good solution ! With the money saved on the price of the room, you can buy a lot of subway tickets ! ;-) A very good hotel !

Good value, breakfast exellent and good communication to town

The Abbot Hotel was a bit further away from the centre of town than we had hoped, although it was not too far a walk to Las Ramblas, etc. The location meant that it was pleasantly quiet in the evening. The rooms were very nice and the staff were efficient and reasonably friendly. The only complaint I have is that we were allocated a twin room although I had booked a double - but this was sorted out the next day without any problem. Overall, a very enjoyable stay.
