The experience at Riad Nabila was excellent. When we arrived, they received us with a welcoming tea. The treatment was excellent, although at some point it was difficult to make us understand, as some of the staff speak little English. We had dinner at the Riad one night and the food was really good, and so did breakfast, which included coffee, milk, natural orange juice, marmalade and jam, honey, butter and bread. The only negative aspect is that it't quite far away from the main areas. Although you can commute with bus or taxis. And the rooms smell to humidity.

Riad Nabila is an ancient and beautiful hotel deep inside the medina. Banana plants, bamboo and palms rise up from the courtyard pool and the roof offers a beautiful setting to talk away the nights under the stars. For those seeking a trip back into time--and what better reason to visit Marrakech?--Nabila is the perfect starting point. The decoration is superb. However, it is a long and puzzling jaunt from Nabila to Jemaa l Fna. This was a plus for us, because we are avid walkers and gave us more of the old city to explore. A widescreen satellite TV is located in a traditional sitting room facing the small tiled and unheated pool (but our daughter didn't mind the frigid temperature!). The absence of TVs in the guest rooms themselves was to me a blessing. WiFi service is spotty throughout the riad, although the Nabila staff was kind enough to offer me additional space within range of the signal. The staff generally went out of their way to be helpful, although more frequent towel changes and soap and shampoo replacements would be helpful. A word about the surrounding area: few foreigners are found in this part of the Medina, so you get an insight into what Marrakech has always been. Residents are generally quite friendly, however, set some landmarks for your journey and avoid guides.

very nice and big room - everything clean! good a/c - but we needed more the heater! diner was also very good - but we ate just one time in the riad. when people speak a little bit louder in the patio, you will hear them in the room, but i guess this will be in all riad so because of the way how the house is built. over all a very nice stay and recommandable!

Thank you very much to the staff. Very lovely Riad with sweet pool and roof top terrace for sun bathing... rooms were of a reasonably good size... Although, not this Riad in particular... ALL Riads and accommodation in Morocco is not designed for the 6 feet people!!! Welcome to the land of the little people! ;-)

very nice with a/c and great pool. Excellent and warm service. we liked very much the location as it is in the middle of a popular and authentic neighbourhood as we like, with local touch but it might not be suitable for people that do not want to walk. Bed cover must be changed. This was the only detail we might critise from this lovely place.
