Marco and his Staff were GREAT ! ! ! Whenever I needed something he was able to help out. Try the mint tea it's to die for. I would recommend you to take the Hotel car service from the airport. It is kind of hard to find at first then you get the hang of it. About a 20 minute walk to the Bazaars and very safe area. I will Stay here again when I am in town.

This was our first time in Marrakech and we arrived a little apprehensive about the political protests - our worries were immediately put to rest by the warm welcome we received from the hotel owners, who assured us that everyday life was proceeding as normal and everything was completely safe (over a delicious pot of mint tea!). The owner gave us a map and oriented us in Marrakech, made sure we knew how to get to the hotel (not easy to find . . .), and gave us very helpful advice throughout our stay. I would recommend getting the airport pickup, as cabs from the airport will try to rip you off and may just drop you in the middle of a nearby square since they can't actually drive up to the Riad. It's not easy to find if you haven't already been! We also did the day trip to Imlil, which was nice although a little pricey. The breakfast was nice and the courtyard was lovely to sit in. Location is a little far away from the main things you'll want to see. Hot water never lasted through showers for both me and my friend, unfortunately. Overall, a good, clean, charming place with friendly people.

Riad Jomana's staff is nice, compentent and kind. The Riad is clean, very close to the square. at the beginning, the staff helps you to find the Riad because is a little street, after that you can find it without any problems!!!! The riad is quiet and clean.

The riad is very difficult to find without direct help. It is highly advisable to take advantage of the hotel's airport pickup as this is both good value for money and a lot less stressful! Once you get there, the staff are friendly and helpful and the accommodation authentic, which means it is charming but lacking some of the facilities you would expect in a modern hotel. The location is good for accessing the Old City, but once inside is surprisingly peaceful. Overall, I would say that Riad Jomana is good place to stay in Marrakech if you are a reasonably independent traveller who is looking for a comfortably authentic experience.

To be honest we didn't plan very well for our trip in terms of what to expect. We did little research into Marrakech and booked our holiday basically because it was recommended to go by so many people. WOW did we get a shock!!! This city is vibrant and chaotic and often if your face!!! WE LOVED IT. And we couldn't have hoped for a better place to stay! Rias jomana is a true oasis, rustic yes, but with a certain charm you need to experience in such a city. To stay in a western hotel would not do your trip justice. The guys at jomana are amazingly helpful and friendly and the rooms and experience exceeded our expectations. In a city where it's easy to get lost, you can always find a home at Riad Jomana. Thank you very very much!

Nice more upmarket accommodation, which we treated ourselves to for our first night in Morocco/Marrakesh. Staff were friendly. The only negative aspect was that the air conditioning unit leaked lots of water, which the staff couldn't fix. Also, it felt like our room lacked privacy with it being right next to the courtyard. A comfortable stay though.

we had the large room just off the courtyard downstairs. would recommend a pick up as it is a little tricky to find the riad the first time. staff & owners were friendly and always on hand to offer advice on shopping, dining and sight seeing. breakfasts were fantastic...the bowls are for coffee ;)

Your riad is an oasis inside the crazy and stressing Medina life. Thank you very much for the way you are, and the way you treat your customers, we felt like at home. We hope to go back soon. But you will have soon some friends from Barcelona going to your Riad, because they are going to Marrakech and I have deeply recommend your Riad and I have given them your contact details.

This is a hard review to write. Marco and Pierro were definitely very friendly and try and be helpful to the tourists. However, there isn't anything about that Riad that made us go "wow" - in particular, we were disappointed with the attached bathrooms to our room. The Riad was hard to find when we reached there the first time and we ended up paying about 2000 Riads for 2 nights. Turns out we could have stayed at some of the 3-4 star hotels in Hivernage and be even closer to Jema el-fnaa while having all the modern conveniences of a hotel. All in all, we'd recommend staying at a hotel rather than this Riad considering

This is a fabulous guesthouse - Marco, Pierre and team made us feel welcome from the first moment we walked through the door, sitting us down with a pot of mint tea and some Moroccan biscuits within minutes of placing our bags in our room. We were shown a map of the city, advised on places to visit and generally made to feel like a valued guest. The location of this Riad cannot be faulted; it's mere minutes from the bustling souks and only about a 10-15 minute stroll to the more cosmopolitan 'new' city outside of the Medina walls. A night’s stay at Riad Jomana is worth it for the breakfast alone - we stayed four nights and were presented with a varied array of delights each morning, from m’semen to fresh bread and jam. We had a double en-suite room on the first floor which was furnished in an authentic Moroccan style (well, to my untrained eye!). The room was on the small side and the bed was a little firm for my taste, but these are minor faults in what was a most enjoyable stay.

The room wa quite dusty although the bathroom was clean. The mattress and pillows were very uncomfortable which meant my sleep was poor throughout the stay. the courtyard and breakfast were lovely and staff v helpful.Wish We'd have known there was wifi as would have taken laptop.

We had a great stay at this riad once we managed to find it! The host was very welcoming and the riad was really pretty and well looked after. Also the breakfast was the best received from any of the places we stayed on our trip. The only comment I would make is that we were expecting an en-suite room but instead we were provided with a private toilet and a separate shower room which we had to walk outside of our room to get to. This didn't cause any major issues but I thought the price should have been slightly discounted to reflect this and highlighted to us when we booked.

Great riad, our room on the ground floor was one of most spacious of all riads we had stayed in, the owners are friendly and very professional, and the price is great!
