We arrived very late at the airport in Marrakech due to weather conditions. Even at 03.00 in the night, the transfert and welcome were excellent. Very friendly staff, always available and helpfull in a crowdy town like Marrakech.

My wife and I stayed at Riad De Vinci for 3 nights and we loved the place. The room was clean and spacious, it was actually nicer than in the pictures. Place is extremely quiet considering all the commotion going on outside. Staff was great, especially Ashraf who helped us with everything we needed. He organized a camel and berber house tour, he went to the station and bought bus tickets for us while we explored the city, he even delivered out passports to the bus station after we forgot to pick them up from the riad. All in all, he was a fantastic host! Riad was about 15min from the main square, but the walk was interesting with shops and restaurants along the way, so we didn't mind the distance at all. All in all, it's a great riad especially when compared to other places we stayed at after leaving Marrakech.

Beautiful Riad house nice decorated, and very nice room but..... The welcome was poor, towels weren't clean everyday, noisy at night from the Television from the night receptionist. People weren't helpful at all. Big difference with the others Riad that we later visit. We sure don't recomended to our friends.

Nice Riad and staff, although if you don't speak French or Arabic in Marrakech you are going to have problems. The only negative, and it is a BIG negative, is the location. The Riad is impossible to find without help. As it is down winding tight alleys you will need the help of the ever present Moroccan youth, who will generally act as though they are trying to help you but then try and charge you a stupid amount for their services once you get to the Riad (200 Dirham’s one guy wanted and when I offered him sixty, which is still loads for this service, he became very aggressive and got this other guy involved who he called ''security''. Scared my wife actually as it was dark, late and rainy). A cab will not take you to the door as roads do not go down that far. You need to ask for Sidi Ben Salim mosque and it is a few twists and turns from there. Really you need a very detailed local map to find it from there but for some unexplainable reason nobody would provide a map. The staff of the riad could just do it crudely on word and send it on but instead don't think of this and put their guests in very compromising circumstances. A real shame as the Riad I thought was cool, although it was my first stay in a Riad so I have no basis for comparison. I think it said there was a pool in the literature. Codswallop, there isn't. There are two small ornamental pools, and I think you would have to be mental to go in them. If they pick you up from the airport (we were not even given the option after booking) and show you where to go etc and give you a lesson on realistic pricing structures (the Taxi drivers will also try to charge you 10 to 20 times the price so a 20 Dirham cab fare from Jema El Fana to the Mosque near the Riad will be 100 D or 200 from the airport, so always always always get the price BEFORE entering the Taxi, no matter how hard they try to avoid this question and pretend not to understand) you should be ok (look to pay 20-30D for cab rides un

Fantastic raid which looks imaculate. All the staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Eating a really good breakfast on the terrace was a highlight. They also had the cutest most friendly cat in the world. Great value for money. Definately the best riad we stayed in during our stay in Morocco

exactly as described. very friendly. prepared to escort us to main street, as it was a bit hidden away. arranged free taxi transfer.breakfast on the roof every morning as it was lovely and warm. not much view though! marrakech itself is a bit alternate to what we normally do. 3 women on their own not such a good idea. you have to be very firm, almost rude to the locals who tag onto you the minute you appear. they will follow you until you make it obvious you don't want help in getting a taxi, or walking to the square, or going anywhere.the old square is amazing though. just don't get your camera out to take pics of snakes or monkeys or dancers or they will ask you for money. meals not cheap, and restaurants a good 20 mins walk fron riad.

first visit. Map not too clear, but transport from airport arranged by this small riad was fine. Warm welcome by the most helpful staff. Comfortable, clean beds, plenty of hot water. Location a little obscure and a little further from the main square in the medina than we expected, but petit taxis are cheap and plentiful. Would not hesitate to stay there again.

The Riad De Vinci is an excellent Riad. Very clean and the rooms are nicely decorated. There is a nice communal area with sofas and the roof terrace is nice. Breakfast was great! It's about a 10 minute walk to the main squarey. Excellent private hammam directly opposite this Riad.

The Ryad is perfect, very intimate interior and very quiet. Clean and spacious rooms furnished in original and nice way! The staff is perfectly welcoming you and ready to help and provide informations: e.g. the Hammam suggested was perfect, it is in the front door and really a fantastic experience! Souks and Djema Al Fnaa are at walking distance.

The owners of Riad De Vinci simply could not have been more friendly and welcoming! You really got the impression that nothing would be too much trouble! On top of this the riad is really modern and beautifully kept. I really loved the decor and the two plunge pools are a fantastic. I would definately recommend this place!

This riad looks EXACTLY like the photos! We were collected from the airport at no extra cost and the owner was available for every enquiry we had yet not in our way at all. The riad was in the Medina, a short walk from the main square and the souks and 2 mins from the bus terminal - perfect location! The only problem could be that the owner speaks very little english so unless you speak french you might have a problem. Otherwise I would thoroughly recommend staying here! A beautiful riad in a great location!
