A great place to be! Great people and excellent service, and above all a fascinating atmosphere of the riad! I particularly loved the cat Waha! I recommend this place in Marrakech!

The staff Jamal and Hakim were very welcoming and did a great job to make our stay very pleasant. They ordered taxis, showed us the way to the souks, offered couscous and snacks when we were enjoying relaxed moment at the fire place, carried our sleeping child from the taxi to our room and were overall very very very kind. Breakfast was a real treat! Fresh orange juice, lots of pancakes, bread, cake, coffee, tea, hot milk served in the cosy area very nicely served. The riad is invisible from outside but inside it is very beautiful, like a small castle with hidden places, terraces with pots, plants and candles at night. The only thing that was minor is that our room (downstairs) was very small and dark and smelled not very nice and there was hardly room to hang our clothes. The old glass entry door could not close (no lock at all)and only a curtain gave us some privacy and kept it reasonably warm (it was cold at night). Initially the kids didnt want to stay here any longer, but after one day we were used to it and felt very much at home. They promised us to give us a suite the next time (there was no other room left). The centre is quite a walk away (20 min walk to the square via the souk labyrinths) and there is nothing to do around the Riad. The area is a bit remote but not unsafe at all. A taxi is more comfortable at night. We managed to have a good time, thanks to the staff and friendly atmosphere. If we would have stayed in one of the better rooms, I would rate it 9-10!

We almost had the entire riad to ourselves as there were no other guests. No complaints though, this is truly a hidden gem! And we got upgraded to a suite (4 of us travelling together). The room was huge and very characteristic. Karim, our host, was very helpful in explaining to us how much we should pay for cabs and how to find our way back to the riad etc. The courtyard had a very nice pool but the weather was a little too cold for use. We stayed in 3 different riads in marrakech. I have to say, even though the location is slightly further away from the main square (djemma el fna), the experience was definitely one of the best! Beware though, the surroundings get really dark when night falls. You may just walk past the main door without noticing and people start asking if you need help (which they actually want money from you after that).
