Riad Kasbah Igoudar Boutique Hotel and Spa - Lalla Takarkoust

it's a great plase, service is excellent, the only thing was - it is no near the Marrakech (45min drive by taxi), which we didn't mind as the views and service were absolutley breathtaking. In a few yrs - as soon as they'll improve showers and their position on the market - they will charge £80 per night! Had a great time!

We had a fantastic stay at the kasbah ! The lady who cooked the meals is a very very good cook. She surprised us every day with another fresh made salad and taijine made with lots of love and very good products. The forty km from Marrakesh is no problem at all, because the kasbah has a very helpfull taxi-driver who brings you to every place you want for a good price. After a day of many impressions in Marrakesh or the mountains it was very nice to come home in such a peacefull place with a very friendly and helpfull owner.

We were made to feel really welcome here. It was more like a Riad than a hotel. The hostess/ owners wife was really lovely, all the food is home made by her, really good quality traditional moroccan food! We couldn't get enough of the msammen! (pancakes at breakfast!) lovely, hot, fresh homemade bread with all your meals, Fruit for dessert, Tajines and harira soup. Delicious! The location and landscape is lovely. we had lunch on our first day on the terrace and were given a tour of the olive grove and farm. We also took a trip into the atlas mountains by car and to a local large lake. And i had a traditional hammam at Kasbah Igoudar. Although you are limited in what you can do inside K.igoudar without a car, our time was relaxing and pleasant. Ahmed the owner was very helpful and spoke rusty english. Very peaceful. One last thing! Bring cash to pay! You CANNOT pay on your card there. We realised this on checkout, but Ahmed was very helpful and allowed us to pay part in sterling.

Kabah Igoudar exceeded our expectectations. the guest house offers a chauffeur service at very reasonable prices. upon arrival we were told to treat the place as home and were looked after beyond our expectation. the staff were very helpful and curteous. would definitley recommend to those looking for peace and quiet. a 40 minute drive from the city and a local bus service every 30 minutes available to marrakech. highly recommended.
