Riad Dar El Menia - Fès

It is very nice and comfortable hotel in the middle of Fes OldTown. However it is a bit hard to find and very expensive - you can find a lot cheaper in Morroco! But its quality is high nonetheless. Rooms are clean and the atmosphere is great there. I'd recommend it if money is not an issue, but keep in mind that it is expensive. Oh, and I wouldn't take their offered dinner meal - it is way overpriced and average quality, in the city you can eat many times cheaper and more delicious foods.

Perfect location, even if difficult to find. Better ask the hotel to pick you up!! Very Quiet. Very good breakfast. Marvellous terrace! Very friendly personal staff.

Amazing, amazing, amazing.. You'll live an episode of Arabian Nights in Dar el Menia. One suggestion: If you could provide a map, it would really help. It's actually not so hard to find the hotel, once the close by landmarks where all locals-tourists would know are clearly indicated.

Graham was wonderfull as well as employees. Meal was delicious, just like breakfast A very nice place to stay!!!

The owner had made necessary arrangements for pick-up from the nearest car park well in advance and we were met by a lovely young man who showed us around the house, made us a cup of tea on arrival and then did a brief tour of the immediate surroundings. The room was beautifully decorated, warm and cosy. We had dinner at the house on our first night and it was beautifully prepared and presented. The breakfasts were great and we loved the rooftop terrace! Not too far from the house is the popular Cafe Clock, which is a lovely sanctuary in the middle of the Medina, staffed by warm and lovely young people! We loved our stay at the Dar El Menia and would definitely return.
